TSX TB in RDX?

hey guys, can't seem to find info on this. Im coming from a tsx where you can swap a 06-08 into a 04-05 because of the 68 mm TB in the 06-08. i know DBW cars all have the same sensor and are swappable. my question is, if i swap a 06 TSX TB in my RDX will it need tuning or is this something that can be plug and play like the ETS intercooler or intake? I'm not a complete noob, i know any car can benefit from a good tune, I'm just curious as this is my 1st turbo car and I'm not finding info on this subject. Thank you!

I would wait until you have flashpro. Your manifold will need port.matched to the bigger throttle body also. Otherwise it's a little pointless to let more air in then hit a step.

i don't really plan on getting flash pro. the port matching shouldn't be hard, i was just curious if i could use it and feel a difference, only because i have the TB sitting there otherwise i wouldn't have thought about it.

You're not going to "feel" anything.

i wouldn't do anything beyond the cpe($300) and maybe the ets($650+), without the flashpro. and if your going to spend $1,000.00 why wouldn't you go ahead and get the flashpro($700) and injectors($350).

this is a very mod friendly car now compared to back in the day. all this stuff drops in and bolts on. its too easy. it does cost a few bucks though.

Thank God for that, it was such a pain before!

This is one of the reasons I haven't started to mod my rdx, the Evo is getting the love.....but I'm wanting more power in the rdx so I guess sooner or later, I'll get around to it...

it makes sense to do the baseline mods before tb or manifold modifications....
