Not a huge fan of Mistubishi... plus, our neighbor has one and he's not a huge fan either. However, there are a lot of Mitsubishi fans out there who love their sets, so it could come down to personal preference.
As for me... the only DLP I'll ever own is a Sammy...

I like my Toshiba 56" DLP. It was rated top 3 in consumer reports. The reason it is cheap most likely is because of lack of features such as POP/PIP etc... At least that was the case with mine when I got it for $1100.
