oh and i have a 2car garage. i borrowed one of those propane heaters. looked like a mini jet engine and took up quite of space and u could stand anything in front of it bc it would burn it and made a lot of noise but it did its job.

I have small kids so I got a couple of these to heat a 4 car garage. It works out well. I had to put another circuit in though cause running both kept blowing the breakers.

Yeah, I've got one of those too. Works well, but it's not the best. To do it the "right" way will cost a bit.

Mr. Heater has a line above the mini jet:

My step-dad has a permanently mounted heater and a 300lb tank outside his garage, but I'm unsure what model/costs were.

My buddy has one of those tube heaters but it runs on kerosene. It kicks ass. Can heat up a two car garage quickly. You need to be a little careful with them. If you don't vent the garage it will burn up the O2 in their and you end up taking a nap.

we have a 3 car garage, two in the front and one on the side all connected.

2 of these are going in, they have a thermostat on them also.

I have a Vented 60,000 BTU natural gas Garage heater. I also have my garage insulated and dry walled. If you plan on doing it the right way this is the way to go, if you dont have a finished off garage id use a LP style heater. Problem is with those is you really need a "Well Ventilated" space or the fumes will get to you. What i have can get costly to run if you use it a lot but i can get it 80 deg in my garage with little effort when its -10 deg outside.

I paid 400 or so for mine, and had to tap into my Gas line (which was easy to do for me)
