^takes time.
as mentioned before, weight fluctuates.

Just be consistent with the gym and what you put in your body.
the 2nd and 3rd month are where you start to see physical changes.

Stick with it and try to be consistent with diet and exercise

I get on the scale every day "just because" but for my records, i only keep track of the "Monday" morning weigh in.

Same for me.

I was surprised this morning, I weighed in at 240. Usually I'm at 244-246 on Mondays and work my way down to 240 by the end of the week.

Book - The 4 Hour Body

I did a search of the thread and didn't find anything...

Has anyone seen or read this book before? The 4 Hour Body by Tim Ferris.

It's legit. Down 11 lbs. since 2/16 and it has really helped my marathon training.
It's super strict and no fun at all, but it really works - much like the diet on P90X, which I've also lost quite a bit of weight on.

Just thought I'd see if anyone else has tried it...

Well atleast I didn't gain Any weight, better nt workout out 6 days a week and dieting 7 days, not easy that's for sure, but I wonder if the weights I do 3 times a week and protein I take after is stopping me maybe I'm building muscle? And that's why I didn't lose anything 2/14-2/21 I lost 8.8 like that and this week nothing like .6 which is nothing.
My biggest fear is going on vacation for a while week out of town from Saturday to Saturday, I'll try to find a gym but I'll probably gain atleast 5-10 lbs if I don't watch what I eat.

239 today.

I'm officially not obese, just overweight. Fawk...took a while.

I scheduled my physical for 3/18 to pass my new requirements for insurance. I'd like to be around 230 at that time.

Ran 2 miles again today and going to kick boxing class tonight I hope.

^Hopefully it's the muscle!

I weighed in at 240 today. Not bad for a Monday. After working on my kitchen, I must have had 6-8 beers last night so I'm looking for a lower weight in tomorrow morning.

I need to get to 235 by end of next week.

Those cheat days are terrible! But I love food. I will never give up food, just need to make sure I continue to exercise to balance it out.

236 this morning!

But tonight is my mom's birthday so I'm going to their house for a ridiculous dinner with drinks....

But I'm almost there....new goal. 230 by end of next week.

I got back on the treadmill this morning after 4-5 days of being off it. Ran 2 miles without any problems. It's crazy to think that 2 months ago, I could barely run half a mile.

I'll share my story about weight, and exactly how much importance I put into a scale. I'm coming off a year of taking painkillers, which made me constipated, so I was backed up internally. Well even off the pks my body wasn't functioning normally. So I decided to take a laxative last Sunday.

Pre-laxative weight = 206lbs
Post-evacuation weight = 198lbs

In the span of less than 12 hours I lost 8lbs just from pooping. So moral of the story is if you don't like what you see on the scale take a shit. But really if you are "stuck" on a certain weight make sure your diet and workouts are good and if they are then keep moving along and ignore the weight factor.

I'm back to normal now, which is great. But my point was that people put too much value in what a scale says. My weight hasn't really fluctuated much the past 10 days, but I've worked out everyday and do notice a change in my energy levels and body.

Went to the Dr yesterday. Nurse took bp, hr, weight etc. When putting every thing in the computer she paused looked at what she wrote down, looked at the computer and looked at me and said im kinda concerned. You have lost 41lbs I said wow, thats fantastic. I thought it was only 38 She said are you trying to? Me Yep and noding with big smile. Working out too. Then she said congratulations. The Dr scale with clothing on and shoes was 201, so i was under 200 Looks like my home scale is a little off

237 weigh in this morning. Not bad for a Monday. I'm hoping that translates to 233 by the end of the week for my physical, it'll be a total of 30lb weight loss from Jan 4th.

This kitchen remodel is helping me get the pounds off.
