no not at all. I'm just trying it for a while. Does anyone really stay on ANY diet forever??? I'm just trying to help the dude out, he says he wants to lose a few pounds in the mid-section, keto has worked for me. Most people don't get far enough in the diet to reach ketosis. The point at which your body starts buring fat instead of carbs, Yes its a difficult diet, but at least in my case, after the frist few days, i feel just fine, because my bodies now burning stored fat. My hopes are that i'll start to get away from eating massive amounts of carbs like i used to and change my life style. I've also focused on portion control and find my self eating 3 meals a day and snacks between, but in moderation. I still eat simple sugars when i feel really drained ie: apple, some kind of fruit, and if i feel like shit before a work out that apple gives me a quick energy boost.

Just tryin to help out!

thanks for the very positive posts fireguy.

i agree that ketosis is a very hard thing to do,and i honestly dont think i could manage on that few of carbs...ive tried to lower my carbs before and i just feel drained and tired all day and find it hard to function.

i know it def would be a good way to lose the fat,but with my workouts,i just need those carbs.
i am careful as much as possible with what i eat,but sometimes i give into my cravings (mostly when im depressed cause my wife has been gone so long and im lonely alot of the time)

which is another bad thing cause stress= cortisol.

but i do my best to keep on the up and up.
lipo 6 helped me reach my goal tremendously last time i took them, 47lbs in 13 weeks.

right now i only have about 3 more servings left, and ill be off the cycle for another month or so..then the last month before she comes home im really gonna hit it hard and get back on it again (so i figure prob 2 more cycles total of lipo6)

this fat burner dosent make my heart go crazy, even with the no xplode...but it does raise my body temp and thats one of the things i do hate, cause i HATE being hot. i love cold weather.

Hey brother its not for everyone! Good luck reaching your goals. I'm sorry your wife is deployed, that sucks ass. Trust me I KNOW! i was a Marine. I got out in 2007, but did my stint over in the sand box. My wife hated it. Now that i'm on the other side of the fence, tell you wife thanks for her service!

Be careful with the fat burners. The problem with taking them with NO XPLODE, ( don't quote me, i'm just an EMT-B not a doctor), but fat burners make your heart beat faster right, well the NO in NO xplode is a vasodialator. Meaning it diaolates your blood vessels in order to get more blood to your muscles during training. Well this also causes a decreas in blood pressure and heart rate, with the fat burner causing an increase in heart rate it could put excess wear and tear on your heart tyring to pump more blood through a wider opening. NO is very similar to Nitroglycern (i suck at spelling), which is what we give to people having heart attacks because it opens the blood vessel's to allow blood past the blockage. It also causes a drop in B/P. But with every thing cycle off/on these products and you sould be fine!

Thanks for clarifying. Temp diets are great for the quick drop. I'm not a huge fan of quick burn diets since long term a lot of people (probably not you or a decent amount of serious fitness people) tend to yo-yo. As you mention, the lifestyle change is what will sustain the loss. Of course if you are a fighter and need to cut weight and keto is the way to go, go for it.

ok so heres my review so far- for fiftyfive specificly:

i just had a protein shake with the 100% natural oats and whey, and i did 1 scoop of that with 1 scoop of nitro core 24...
on the label it says u get about 1 large bowl of oatmeal per scoop.

i got the milk chocolate and it tasted pretty good,it over powered the crappy chocolate taste of the nitro core and it had a hint of the nutty flavor from the oatmeal. the oatmeal is very ground down so its a fine powder, without the label u would just think its a protein powder.

i will update later to see if i feel any kind of extra energy from it.
this is the first day after a back workout that ive ever been sore...
but i really beat the shit out of myself last night.

progress has been good and i keep raising my maxes consistantly.
more updates to come.

Good to hear man. Keep up the good work. I'll probably go ahead and try the Oats and Whey as a breakfast replacement with a serving of glutamine. I usually don't have too much time for breakfast because i love sleeping so this may be a good alternative to another bowl of boring cold cereal.

A combination of power cleans and dips killed my traps worse than any other time I've worked out.

I don't want to take this too off topic....

But I was having major issues with my joints hurting and shoulders popping. It's been going on for a good 5-6 years and glucosamine and condroitin (sp) has been a staple of my diet for a long time.

I was taking in over a 12pack of diet coke/pepsi a day plus using artificial sweetener on everything including my daily coffee.

Someone told me to get off the artificial sweeteners and I did as of two months ago and my joints feel like an 18 yr old again. No pain, no popping, and I'm not taking glucosamine.

I get more sore now but I get a much harder pump now than I ever could before. Now I'm able to truly push my muscles harder than I could before.

Just a thought for those of you that consume a lot of diet stuff. I had been handicapping myself for the past 5 years without knowing it.

i dont drink anything but water..ever..so that woudlnt be the case for me,but i do take a MSM pill for joints, its just cause of how much i weigh i think.

i dont add any sugar to anything i eat and i dont drink coffee...so thats why i think its just a matter of too much weight on the elbows,

+1

Power cleans and snatches killed my traps. I did shrugs for years. Bar, dumbells, pulley whatever. I felt it way better with the power lifts. Plus you'll hit all kinds of muscles doing these. It even helps your gut disappear since you work some of your abs by exploding. Although the lifts are difficult, you should practice them with the bar. A lot of football teams have gone to this type of lifting as well. I really felt overall stronger doing these.

Ya for high school football I did alot of power cleans. Improved explosiveness throughout the hips and really helped improve tackling strength. The power lifts are most explosive weight exercises you can do and hit everything.

update: im noticing huge muscle gains, less fat loss...i may have to tweak my diet to adjust. now that im off the fat burners ive been sluggish thru the days. getting used to less caffiene/stimulants.

my triceps are blowing up and my chest is getting more full. i still do cardio daily, but may have to start adding more time.

as u can see in these pics,i have my stomache fat to deal with, and my arms are still cooshy, but still show definition in the triceps.

Dude, can you please have someone take pics for you at least? Or go buy a $50 camera with a 10 second delay. What are you trying to show to us in your last pic? You're taking a picture of us instead of yourself.

I'm not that perfect, but I do know that your pics are weak sauce and for us to see any kind of improvements, you're gonna have to change your poses.
