tried to use a shovel a couple days ago to do that lol

had to use an ice breaker - plastic shovel didn't put a dent in the hardened snow

Yea it was starting to get there. I would smell clutch if I drove the car hard and jerking a bit when moving from a full stop/ shifting gears.

Edit: Car has 230k so I don't think I can complain lol

P.S. Mike did you go with OEM driveshafts? And did you just change the driver's side and passenger's side or did you get the intermediate half shaft as well?

I changed my passenger's side before the winter but my car is shaking again pretty bad on heavy acceleration from 60-80 km/hr and was thinking of changing my Driver's side and Intermediate shaft now.

Both driveshafts were replaced, not sure what you mean by intermediate driveshaft.

The replacements are aftermarket and vibrate a bit under hard acceleration. I was told that they will settle to my lowered ride height eventually and the vibration should go away. They have a one year warranty so I'm not too concerned.

I can't believe how quickly lowered cars go through driveshafts.

Do you remember what aftermarket brand they were? I got OE passenger's side axle but you're right lowered cars will go through driveshafts like nothing I may as well get cheaper aftermarket ones especially if they have warranty.

Not sure, it's still at Acura2000.

They made some adjustments and still aren't happy with the vibrating so they took them off and are putting OEM driveshafts on now.

Maybe look into how much it will cost to have your OEM ones rebuilt.

The vibration you speak of, is it like a shudder you get from accelerating from a stop at low speeds then goes away once you hit like 15-20 km/hr?

If its that, I heard its normal on these cars when you're lowered and not much you can do about it. Although from reading on these boards, one member claimed that he changed the intermediate shaft (part #: 44500-SEP-A00) and it fixed the issue.
