Looking to get my car tinted and have narrowed it down to two shops. Anyone have any experience with Audio Heaven and Thornhill Tint? Who uses the better quality tint (also navigation safe)? Does neither one offer or use moleskin? TIA

 

my car is tinted by Audio Heaven. they did an OK job, i've seen better and i've seen worse. my tint has since faded and is not as dark as it use to be, but i did get it done about 5 years ago. i really only went to them b/c they were pretty cheap at the time

 

Got both my TLs done at Thornhill Tints and my Impreza done at Audio Heaven. I personally think Thornhill Tints is much better. Got a good deal from them too.

I did Thornhill Tints, nice guys and it was done pretty quick, but they've been doing a lot of dealership jobs lately. I had to go back as part of my tint caught the moleskin and they replaced it no questions asked. Couple of my friends went there too and are all happy with it.

 

I'm looking for a tint place too, more so on the east side, I've heard mostly good stuff about Audio Haven tho.

So far I'v gotten quotes from Pureauto( $290 for LLumars lifetime warranty film) and Krown ($249.95 for Carbon dyed 3ply film or $549 for Nano Ceramic huper optic fim)

Just wondering are these good/decent prices?

I know there are different types of tints, which would be the best option? UV protection etc.

 

go to John @ Autolinks at Birchmount/Eglington - one of the best places and they do ceramic tinting which is Navi safe

search them on redflagdeals.com - alot of good reviews

I'm getting my tint done @ iTint in Vaughan, close to 400/ hwy 7. Guy quoted $200 total for LLumar ATC charcoal 20%. I'll post pics in 2 weeks.

 

+1 for Thornhill Tints, I've brought all my cars there and never had problems. I guess you pay for what you get, if you opt for cheaper films they will fade.

 

Got mine done at Cobra. They couldn't get the edges of the back windows... it's not noticeable but when I complained they said there's nothin they can do.

 

Getting tints done this weekend at Audio Heaven. Been going there in the past for my vehicles and haven't had any issues before. I'll let you guys know how this job turns out.

 

Audioheaven is good, got my Preludes tint done there 6 years ago, no problems with it at all (no peal, no fade nothing!)

Lifetime warranty is good too...
