I really feel like we have two VERY strong candidates for D&R mods. I would say Darksom1 and Ami, should be made a mod of this sub forum. They both go through great lengths to help people out. Not, only do they give sound advice, and obliviously know what they are talking about. Sometimes some of the things they say can come off as a little harsh, but you have to keep in mind that not all advice is peaches and cream. Sometimes the truth is the last thing we (people with issues who ask for guidance) is the last thing we want to hear. I know this prob won't go anywhere. However I would like to commend both of you for your insight and willingness to help out complete strangers with some of the hardest times, a person can go through (emotionally). My hats off to you two guys! Keep up the good work..

I understand not everyone would feel the same way I do. but that's why I titled the thread, "just a thought". to each his.. I just have these 2 guys on countless occasions give really good advice. I know Sasha is the mod here, I'm not trying to steal any thunder from her. Sasha is a great person, who seems to have a very kind heart. And she does DESERVE to bea mod here. I don't know if a sub forum can have more than one mod. Like said before it was just a thought.

Helping others with problem-solving is not for personal satisfaction, though gratuity sometimes follows. I am glad I can help people who go thru life thinking shit just happens, and I can provide them with a reason why it does or some level of comfort to deal with it. Sometimes I can be wrong or a little off, but my intentions are nevertheless sincere and selfless...

No offense, but advice on a certain topic can vary from person to person and it may or may not work but ya darksom always has something to say, usually good, so I give my vote to him. Haven't seen all of amisconception's posts so can't say yay or nay for him

Never really said I 100% disagreed with you. I think what makes their posts "real" is the fact that the can basically say it because they are not mods. I think both of them have had good posts and advise, but IMO, they will both have to be more muted to be a mod. And I don't think either of them will want that. Just my opinion though. And really, I don't want them muted.

 

x 2. You make them mods and you'll in effect be putting a muzzle on them. To "moderate" may require them to pacify differing views and temper their own, frequently pointed and opinionated viewpoints. Ray and warren often dish out "tough love" but for the metrosexualized, psychologically castrated noobs that frequent this forum it's often a blessing in disguise.

Just messing with ya. We do listen to member input all of the time, but mod decisions are made behind the scenes. There is a fairly elaborate process in place when it comes to discussing a member promotion to a mod, and topics like this are typically not part of it

I know we don't get any say towards who becomes a mod.Also I wasn't ask for my self to be a mod. I just always though that the mods of each sub forum, were the ones who seemed to be the most helpful / knowledgeable about the topics in question. I ultimately know it comes down to the admins, as to who becomes what.. Like I said it was just a thought. I mean shit I wasn't trying to upset the flow of AZ. Just like I said in previous posts, Those2 guys seems to help the majority of the people here, when the time calls for a serious response. I wasn't demanding that they be mad mods, jesus.. All I was saying is that maybe you mods/ admins could discuss it, and if it happens cool, if not cool too. Really no need to jump down my throat on the subject.
