Wouldn't know, if I remember correctly studies said it was as effective as the pill, but doesnt prevent you from getting the HIV....

 

I'm sure it works on the same concept as the patch for smokers. The drug (in this case hormone) is taken in through the pores of the skin into the blood, where it then does it's magic.

The pill works the same way, only it's in a solid form initially... What did you think it did??? Went down and blocked your little boys from entering the fallopian tubes???

It's all hormones... Patch, pill... It's all the same.

Friend of mine started the patch and some anti-depressants at the same time, and she put on about 20 pounds. Don't know if it was the bc or the other, but it could make your gf heavier.

Maybe that's how it works - it makes her tubby so you don't want to have sex with her.

 

Pulling out isnt an effective method of birth control. Pre-cum can still impregnant a woman, granted chances are less, but still there.

 

I think most forms of birth control (other than condoms and butt sex) cause the little lady to blow up like a tick. Unfortunate, but better than her expanding due to a bun in the proverbial oven.

 

Oh I definitely disagree. I know plenty of people on other kinds (myself included) with no weight change at all.

i worked with a woman who swore by the pull out method. even though she admits both her children were born from that.

 

It works well as long as you keep it on. The major side effect I've seen is skin irritation- and becareful becasue it doesn't stay on all that well in water. Alot of OB-GYNs I work with recommend it.

Well it's not the most reliable form of birth control..at least not the last time I knew..Normal ejaculation contains about 70 million sperm!! Pre-cum can contain up to 1 million sperm. It only takes ONE sperm to fertilize an egg and produce a pregnancy!!

Pulling out requires lots of self-control and an ability to predict the exact moment when he is going to ejaculate. He must pull out completely from the woman and ejaculate away from her body. If he forgets or doesn't pull out in time, there's a definite possibility of getting pregnant.

If anyone thinks that pulling out is a form of safe birthcontrol it's not!
Even if you pull out and put it in her mouth or her hair or wherevere there is that chance...so be smart and use a condom or make sure she is on the pill!!!!!

It works but your girl could gain a LOT of weight. A friend of mine went on it and gained a ton of weight, this was 2 years ago and she has yet to recover from it.
