Cook her a gourmet meal at home.

That's what I did. She loved it.

yeah dude the trick to a relationship is to do things that seem very thoguhtful or expensive without burning a hole in your wallet. Not only does it show you care more, but chances you'll be witht he bitch down the road is close ot nothing. A woman is the second worst investment in life, right after a car.

Anything with engravements is a horrible idea. It will become obsolete pretty quickly if/when you guys break up.

If you're gonna give a material gift, have it last at least.

for our one year, we went to busch gardens for the weekend and my friends dad let us use his house for the weekend while he wasnt there (mind you we were 17-20 at the time)

it was fun.

for our 2 year we went to st.augustine, got a hotel room on the beach and spent the entire weekend there, went parasailing, boating, spent time on the beach.. it was nice.

3 year we were too broke to do anything =(

4 year is coming up.. havent decided what to do yet

^^ smart man

Don't get too expensive early on or it will come back to bite you in the ass. On my first I spent about $100 (I was 18) and it went up steadily every year after. Now we're on 10 and I just dropped close to $10Gs...

It's an anniversary, not a birthday anyways. Not focused on gifts as much as it should be on just spending time together. I suggest you go TMK's sandwich route.

Tiffany's bracelet is cool, but not only after one year. Wait a couple years for that. Do something like the girls here suggested. The hot air balloon thing is sweet. And gifts for anniversary are awesome... when you're married. just my
