Hey guys

First time poster... been a BMW owner my whole life but got tired of the maintenance and decided to switch to Acura.

I was hanging out yesterday, nice weather, driving back home with all the windows down. I received a phone call and tried to close all the windows but they would not go up. I could not close them from the drivers control nor could I close them using the control on any of the doors. Also the lights on the drivers control are only lit up for the drivers window (drivers window does work) and all the other ones are off even if lights are on.... wtf?

I was able to close the windows by putting the key in the lock and holding it, so it's not the window regulators...

Any ideas?

I would check the window lock button near the window buttons. It will not let the other windows operate and shut the lights off to show they are locked if it is pressed. I thought though that even if they were locked you could still use the drivers buttons to make them work but that may not be.

 

Most likely the lock button in front of the window switches on the driver's door.

That was actually the reason for my problem, I didn't even see that button wow... that button is retarded though. Why would I want to block all windows from operation? In every other car I've been in that button disables the window functions for everyone EXCEPT the driver...
