One day, i pick up my man @ work and went to eat something. Normally, the routine is us taking 10 minutes to decide what to eat. That day, he said right away to go to that fast food joint. Stunned, i didn't say anything and drove straight there. I told him it was my treat since he had been paying a lot and ordered. He decided to order a meal last minute. I got the drink cup, asked who it was for and went to fill the cup. He took a while to answer in which i caught and he eventually um-ed his way to say it was for a male co-worker. I knew he was lying and replied, if its for a girl, it's okay. Next he told me it was for someone else and i said uh, huh. sure. We got the food and i inhaled it. He sat there with this look on his face. It was ranging from 3 different emotions. The last was obviously anger. He replied with some bull shit that so what if it was for a girl. I told hime i was mad that he lied about it and it just so happened that it was a girl. He threw away his food & the food he bought. He said he lied so i wouldn't get mad at him and thought that it was no big deal buying the food for her. Right it's no big deal but why lie?!

Don't know how i found out more about this girl but i haven't heard him talk about a female co-worker in detail like this b4. Her nationality, age, marital status, age, which combo she buys, major, how much she makes, where she lives, who she lives with, the arrangements of who's sleeping where. Makes matters worst, she lives right by where they work. (Bad for my wandering mind.)

What makes even worst matters, i'm an avid online user and stupid "signs of emotional cheating" & Oprah's cheating show came on about the same time. BTW, we've fought before and brought her up and he's told me they don't even talk & that they can't cuz one is front of house and one is back of house. Yet he's told me ALL about her.

Wow. Before you make any rash assumptions though, look a bit deeper. However be a bit cautious as the deeper you dig, the situation may flip 180 degrees if your partner didn't do anything and it'll just be your jealousy working this situation up.

i think it's weird that he had to lie about it. but we'd have to find out why exactly he did. and i'm a little upset that he threw away both meals. what a waste of food.

Anyways it sounds like her/his man was doing something out of the ordinary and he/she caught it and confronted him about it. He/she said he/she would pay for the food so he ordered something last minute for a "co-worker" then he said the food was for someone else. Then he told her/him the he lied so he/she wouldn't get mad.

I am guessing all of this could have been prevented by telling the truth but is there any reason why he would want to not tell the truth. Either he can be cheating or you are very insecure and this has happen in the past and was blown out of proportion.
