XBOX360 Moto GP

Anybody play it yet? I am trying to see if it is purchase worthy. I know the graphics look great, but I am hoping that it has replay value.

I played the demo and it is pretty good. The reviews are great and I enjoyed the MotoGP series on the Xbox, so I'm sure it's a good buy. It's a bit more difficult to play than an arcade racer, but I think it's the best motocycle racing game available.

I'm coming from a PS2 and have been playing the shit out of Tourist Trophy lately. I picked up a 360 and MotoGP 06 Tuesday and I'm impressed. I was getting pretty good at TT but the 360 has me feeling like a newb again. The graphics are incredible, and the sensation of speed is crazy. It's gonna take awhile to get the hang of this one though. About the only complaint I have with MotoGP 06 is the load times, which are woefully slow.

From the videos of the game online, this game looks good...and it's scored well in reviews.

I picked this up yesterday...and boy...this game is very hard. Online play is very cool and the graphics are amazing!!! It pisses me off though because I am usually very good at racing games. This is my first experience with a moto racing game so maybe that is why I suck major balls.

I agree with you, the game is awesome, but is very hard when you are used to coming in late for a turn, braking hard and using 2 rear wheels to "Push" you through a turn. God i love GT4.

What is weird is that last night, everything kind of clicked for me. I still lay it down here there, but I was really accelerating in and out of turns pretty effortlessly. I made quite a bit of my passes in turns, which tells me I am getting better around the apex. Some guy told me to put the rear brake on the left trigger, and I think that helped quite a bit too. So much to learn though which makes it even cooler when I think about it.

Overall, online play is superb and really takes this game to the next level! It is great when you get 16 people in the same session.

I bought this and don't like it. Played less than 5 minutes... $45 shipped if anyone wants it.

Dude...You played 5 minutes and your selling it? The game is incredibly hard to play and I can't believe I'm still playing it after 3 weeks or so. The payoff is to win races and complete challenges...If you do this your bike gets better and better. I'm on the champion level now and although it's a bitch, I'm setting lap records for myself at almost every track. The online element is the best, as you might be racing guys from England or wherever. There are 53,000 people playing this game online, and it grows daily. I just don't want someone that's considering the game to not buy it because of a 5 minute review. The game is awesome, but takes awhile to get good at. If I'm spending $60 on a game, I don't want to beat it 2 days after I bought it.

it's a decent game, same exact thing as xbox version, but slightly prettier.
