He is not the only guy who think GT4 is overrated.

But I love it anyway, since I am a big Honda fan.

None of the FF production car in GT4 has over 260hp(CL Type-S being the fastest of all FFs). I understand why PD decided to not giving TL a shot. This is a racing game, too much understeer is NOT fun.

Why would there be?

TL's are family cars.

Well... if you take a look at their collections in hondas, there's even honda odyssey, which I consider a family car...

yeah TL is a heaaavy 4-door family sedan, that's why it was not included. I read that it is gonna be in new game coming from Konami called "Family Racing 2005" though.

good point about the 260hp + FF...

I'm gonna get one too and do FULL mods on it so it truly can be full race... except for suspension - I'm gonna leave that bone stock. I can't wait to see its body roll.

Not at all. First of all, that Odyssey is only available in Japan which is where I live. The reason they only put in inline-4 is that engine compartment was too small to fit in current V6 made by Honda. The reason why it had to be so small was that concept of the car was to have a low clearance(close to those of sedans and wagons)...while still maintaining minivan size interior space(which they did brilliantly). So they used the same engine that Honda Accord(TSX) uses. The Odyssey that is available in GT4 is L-Type. L-type is only available in DOHC i-VTEC 160hp inline-4. But there's another Odyssey called Odyssey Absolute. It is powered with i-VTEC inline-4 producing 200hps. 200hps with sedan-like handling is quite amazing. Some of you may compare it with American Odyssey with 3.5L V6 producing 255hp(its 255hps right?). But this Odyssey is very different in concept and "4-bangers" are very well suited for this concept and Japan where big displacement are not favored by many(unless you make like 300k a year). Big displacement, big tax. My dad has to pay about $750/year along with other tax for his Inspire 32V(3.2TL). Another thing is I read an article from Best Car Magzine where they did a 0-100km test using cars like Subaru Legacy Wagon 2.0i, Odyssey, and etc. Amazingly, Odyssey beat Legacy.

Interior is very well built, engine is quiet and is controlled by 5-speed Automatic with sequential mode or 7-speed CVT with sequential mode. it is not so heavy, even though it is a minivan. It weighs about the same as Acura TL....probably less.

IMHO, I really believe that this car should not be taken for granted. Its a very well built minivan indeed

you're wrong. the reason it has a 4 cylinder is due to its light weight, which makes it optimal for racing.

And handling... that big 6 in the front probably just puts more stress on the front wheels during hard cornering...

Wait... are we actually talking about the sporty characteristics of a minivan and actually debating about it?

Junkster, who wants like a 500hp minivan

I believe I'm right on this one. Weight maybe a factor, but space is the primary factor why they couldnt place a V6. I read an article on Best Car magazine where they interviewed a Honda engineer who designed the car. He said that the space was the factor.

No 6th gen Accord coupe neither. I've seen 6th gen Accord sedans though but Japanese style. Oh well never stopped me from getting the game. Consider it a test drive of other cars you didn't buy.
