So, despite me going insane looking for possible reasons my PS5 may be defective thanks to the Walmart-issued punch through my box, I think I have no other problems other than those of my own. But, we knew I was insane.

finally opened it. Tried to transfer all my PS4 games, but didnt have enough space
stupid COD: MW and COD: Black Ops Cold War each up so much space.

Going to wait for them to enable the M.2 NVME SSD slot before I buy any expansion. Prefer to keep any expansion internal.

My gosh the load and boot times are fast. in COD im usually the first one in to the map while all the commoners are still loading

Also this thing is super quiet, no more sounding like a jet engine ala PS4 Pro (and im running the PS4 in 1080p too)


Controller is hefty and interesting compared to the Dualshock 4.
Only thing I don't like is they don't have the back button add on available yet. I use that all the time for FPS games
Also the controller seems shaped to make your index fingers fall on L2/R2, but i never use those for FPS games.

 

oh yea one other thing that blew me away was the 3D audio. Holy shit that threw me off when playing COD:MW. For footsteps and what not, you can hear from which direction its coming. If they're behind you, it'll sound like its behind. blew my mind

I dont have any 3D audio heatset too. Just the LVL PDP40 wired headset.

Yeah, for the price point and the stupidity involved in getting one, some of these problems are pretty head-shaking.

I'm assuming these kinks will be ironed out with inbound patches and etc.

 

I heard they are all being addressed in the PS6.
