you have to wait a couple seconds for it to fire, and if it's shooting the door and you tell it to fire while holding shift, it will keep shooting the door

I think there's another league above diamond. It's called pro league or something.

It's really hard to get up there from diamond as every single player who is in diamond are pretty good.

So I won my first online game yesterday. I used the "cheese" strategy of building 6 barracks with reactors and just pumping out marines and it actually worked. It was so funny watching this swarm of guys run around and wreck everything

But the cheese rush is actually like a very early rush with your basic units such as marines and zealots coupled with SCVs and Probes.

I usually do not stop getting workers til the game ends regardless of how long the game goes for. Did your opponent have more expansion bases than you had?

You definitely need more than 1 worker per mineral/vespene. It's more efficient that way since the worker has to go back to the command center/nexus/hive to drop off the stuff.
That leaves a pause where there isn't anything collecting from it.

Although up to a point you can have too many workers, and they will just all sit there waiting their turn.

You will have to find the right timing to expand, so the excessive number of workers can be transferred to that new location. That way that new expansion site can be utilized to its fullest right away.

I'm actually playing the AI on Very Hard before tackling the online world. Don't wanna spend 30 minutes experimenting each game then getting my base blasted on easily by someone who can call me a "loln00b" all day.

Yeah, the learning curve is definitely very steep for online play. I'm still doing the practice games

Yeah I finished all the planets and got all the credits/research points. I was only able to upgrade half of the units but I purchased all the mercenaries..

I can't get past Char... gonna watch some strats on youtube..

Hard, but I'm not the best at SC For me Normal is too easy, so I play Hard for the challenge, but it gets frustrating sometimes

Can't beat part 3 of Char... got up to 85% but then got wiped out

i took out the nyudus worms.

i think it wouldve been better the other way, because of those broodlords. always took out my damn turrets.

plus with the ground units they're slowed down with the psi disruptor if you researched it and built them. so the siege tanks can take them out.


but the way i won is i just built a buttload of battlecruisers with level 3 armor and weapons.

Yeah I figured taking out the air would be the best.. those nyudus worms appear a lot though, but they are easier to take out.

I have the psi disruptor and I built a lot of siege tanks, but one side always get extremely overwhelmed and even with 14-16 tanks on that side it doesn't matter.. may have to build more psi disruptors.

You need more than 1 disruptor. They have a limited range.

I think things are set once you choose.. When you had to choose between Ghosts & Spectres I chose Spectres.. but I went back to play the Ghost mission to try and get the bonus points, but I didn't receive them.


And I just tried it again but my base got raped.. thought I had good enough defense setup, but somehow it got demolished.

just beat the campaign yesterday.. i love it.. can't wait til the other two stories to come out..

i just beat it in normal level.. i just wanted to get over it since i mostly play league games.. but really it was very fun playing different type of missions, and it was a great idea by blizzard to make us to choose couple different routes on some of the missions.

Yeah I just beat the last level.. had to do a couple things different to hold off the final rush.

So in the next 2 stories will we play as zerg or protoss? Or do you think they'll continue with playing as Terran as the storyline?
