Here are a few awesome comparison shots of real-life Tokyo and in-game shots of the same locations in PGR3:
The amount of detail Bizarre put into the backgrounds is amazing. You can almost truly mistake it for the real thing.

There is a bug where you can get the camera to free roam in photo mode and can take pictures like this. The game looks this good in the free roam mode.

It has a mix of arcade and simulation racer feel. The graphics are outstanding, the online play is great and it has a nice selection of tracks.
There is a demo available to download if you want to try it out first. I'd say it is more of a pure racer than NFS, but both are very fun.

I have to say NFS:MW (and both Undergrounds) have better car control. Like, way better. PGR3 has VERY arcadey control but you try not to think about it because the graphics and sound are so good.

both games have arcadey control. It's just a matter of, which feels more arcadey - and it looks like that has a lot to do with personal preference.

You see how they are all repeated twice? Well one is a REAL picture, and the other is a picture IN THE GAME. its comparing how real the game looks in comparison to real life photos.

Full Auto
Combine fully-automatic, weapon-equipped vehicles with highly detailed and interactive urban environments and you have Full Auto, the most destructive racing action ever experienced in a video game. Produced exclusively for the Xbox 360, this racer allows players to choose from a wide selection of unique vehicle designs and arm them with any combination of machine guns, cannons, and other deadly weapons. The rules of the road don't apply in this high-octane, no-holds-barred competition. And once players have honed their skills against computer opponents, they can jump onto XboxTMLive and take on real players in both destruction-heavy lap courses and last-man standing arena matches.
In the near future, the city of Staunton is held hostage by a mysterious group known only as the Shepherds. As a retired driver, you are coerced by the Shepherds into a series of lethal street races, where the cost of competing is far greater than anyone ever expected. Employ the use of Unwreck, an ingenious new feature that allows players to rewind short periods of time. Botch a turn? Correct it. Miss a shortcut? Go back and take it. Under heavy fire? Use a second chance to evade the competition. Unwreck makes mid-race "restarts" a thing of the past.
Packed with more than ten play modes, including a 60-event career, Full Auto offers a degree of variety that surpasses even the most celebrated racing games of the current generation. Extensive multiplayer support via split-screen and online play ensures gamers will be burning (quite literally) the midnight oil with friends. Full Auto is destined to raise the bar for action-racing games.
Features:
* The most destructible environments of any game to date.
* Unique Unwreck feature gives players the ability to control time, rectifying fatal errors, missed opportunities, and bad aim.
* Gameplay modes include a 60-event Career Mode, Pursuit, Arena, Tag, and Rampage. A host of mini-games add to the collection.
* Collision, Jump and Death cameras magnify key moments. One-touch replays and customizable highlight reels amplify the awesome presentation.
SEGA of America has today announced that Full Auto will now ship to stores on February 14, 2006

I am gonna buy both. I think BF2MC will be a better online game, but GR will definitely be a better single player.
Graphics wise it should be very similar to the PC, just like CoD2 was.

Microsoft reveals top 10 Xbox Live Arcade titles
Paul Loughrey 10:06 20/01/2006
Bizarre Creations' Geometry Wars holds the lead
While hardware unit shortages continue to mar the retail trade, those who have managed to purchase an Xbox 360 are, according to Microsoft, making full use of the online Xbox Live Arcade service.
In an official statement to consumer website IGN, Microsoft has revealed the current top ten titles available for download through Xbox Live - one aspect of the next-generation console launch that has so far failed to receive any negative opinion from the industry, or consumers in the gaming community.
Although no exact figures for sales were revealed, the publishing giant has detailed its most popular games on the Arcade service, with Bizarre Creations' Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved leading the pack. The game is an adapted version of the retro styled arcade game that first appeared on the original Xbox, as part of Project Gotham Racing 2. Since the launch of the service in November, Geometry Wars has achieved some 200,000 trial downloads and 45,000 paid downloads, proving exceptionally popular with the online community.
Genuine retro titles such as Gauntlet and Smash TV hold prominent positions in the chart listing, the remainder a mix of retro and casual games previously available over the Internet. Whilst the majority of games are available to download for between 400-800 Microsoft points (where 80 points equals one dollar), Bankshot Billiards 2 is the most expensive title, costing 1200 points (USD 15). The continued success of the title does perhaps give some indication of consumers' willingness to pay higher prices for quality downloadable content, and may prompt the creation of more higher-priced titles.
The full chart from Microsoft is as follows:
1. Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved
2. Gauntlet
3. Smash TV
4. Bejeweled II
5. Zuma
6. Bankshot Billiards 2
7. Outpost Kaloki X
8. Mutant Storm Reloaded
9. Joust
10. Wik: Fable of Souls
