The more I look at the video, the more I love it. It's the little things that really make a difference. If you use Windows Media Player, you can adjust the brightness and contrast to see more detail.
Check out the smudges on the windshield, the quality of the interior, the reflection in the rear view mirrors, the fact the camera leans forward slightly during hard braking and moves back under fast acceleration (it really does look like it is from the eyes of the driver), the fact you can see your shifts, the realistic sound of hitting the rev limiter, etc.. I'm sure you can tell I'm really excited about this video...
Here is what 1up had to say about it:

Amazing New Project Gotham Racing Video
Oh. My. God. You have to see it to believe it.
Sometimes we're accused of being jaded old cynical hacks. Words like that make us cry inside. But we respond with disappointment because of so many broken promises and dreams thrashed, trashed, and left to wilt by the side of the road.
But then along comes something that makes us quiver with excitement. This is the real thing. It's next gen. And you have to see it to believe it. Check out this video shot by Finland's leading videogames magazine Pelaaja at a recent press event for Project Gotham Racing 3.
Even on a handicam, shot a little too dark, it's pretty amazing. Note the incredible detail that nears photo-realistic perfection. The way the light dances off the dashboard. The images scattering across the rear and side-view mirrors.
This - this is the sort of thing that makes us cry for other reasons. Because we can believe again. This time the promises are real.

yea - the movements are erratic... typical of arcade-style racers. the cars move as if they are on a roller-coaster track. I guess it's not for realism ppl.

The game looks great, and will be a great pick me up game for a new system. When a new system comes out, the initial launch titles are usually tech demos with great games coming a little later. Also most developers are taking advantage of little of the 360's power. Wait until they get a hang of developing for this and the ps3. Remember when the PS2 came out, games looked like dreamcast games, some even worse than dreamcast. But look at now. Example, Resident Evil 4 on the PS2 looks just as good as it does on the GC and that is saying a lot. Right now games are looking great, but a year+ from now, we will be seeing shit that will blow our minds. I just cant wait for GT5 and Forza, i will be up late at night playing those games.

Last video. This one is by far the best quality. The video camera interlaced the image (little lines) but the quality is amazing. The video is in Quicktime, but if you click the link and wait some time, it will load. You can also right click and "save as" in the "ici" link. This video is really worth checking out:

"All the footage, from the video to the screenshots are 100% gameplay. I repeat, these are not cut scenes. These are not an artist's interpretation of gameplay. This is NBA 2K6."
"A game that will carry over current-gen features like 24/7, The Crib, The Association, and VIP, adding to that some of the most impressive graphics we've seen to date."
"Introducing an all-new graphics engine, the game captures animations down to a player's individual muscle system, depicting true human body movement and incredible details including enhanced sweat technology."
"True-Life" cloth simulation technology to deliver more realistic-looking shorts and jerseys. Add to that the emotion and passion of player faces that animate and natural head-and-eye tracking"
"electrifying crowd complete with 10,000 individual models dispersed throughout the arena"
"And again, this is 100% gameplay."

Some more tidbits: Halo is in DOA4...Master Chief in a street-fight! ![Big Grin](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Halo in DOA 4
Bungie and Itagaki join forces on 360.
by David Clayman
October 3, 2005 - Bungie.net posted an update this morning confirming rumors that a character from the Halo universe will be playable in DOA4. The post states:
"Bungie has indeed been chatting with the good folks over at Team Ninja. We're huge fans of DOA and Ninja Gaiden, and when Team Ninja approached us with an intriguing idea, well, we were intrigued. Naturally. Tomonobu Itagaki's team is among the most talented in the games business, and we've SEEN the character in action. Words like, OMG, BBQ and Zoinks immediately come to mind. What they've done so far, is perfectly capture the essence of (insert crackpot theory here) and bring an element of Halo directly into the DOA world. It's cool. And by cool, I mean totally sweet."
There is no word yet on who or what this character could be but here at IGN we really hope it's not 343 Guilty Spark. For now I'll keep my money on Cortana. We'll likely have more Halo announcements coming soon from X05 in Amsterdam.

I like the 2k6 picks, but.. cmon did they fire the towel boys in the nba or what? The live vs 2k6 thing seems like a who can sweat the most. I do like the way the uniforms move in the gameplay though, thats neat.

You can see a ton of new game trailers at xbox.com
http://www.xbox.com/en-US/xboxtv/def...170&bw=hi<n=
The new videos are under the X05 category (the big Xbox 360 release show going on right now in Amsterdam).
PGR3, Gears of War, Too Human are VERY impressive
