Oh noes... my game is teh ruined!!!

meh... I got through 9, got bored, and went with other stuff that was more interesting.

But after I found out that the DeLorean is the prize for missions 1~10, I've been itching to go back again.

When a track shows available to practice on does it become available in Arcade mode? I notice arcade by default doesn't have all the tracks and I know you guys said earlier that arcade mode is unlocked in GT mode.

That's weird, cause my driver won't do that. When I was still learning b-spec mode i took overtake off after I got in first place, thinking I wouldn't need it any more, but then when I got a lap up on them I just stayed behind the 6th place car. I watched it for a while thinking he was just having trouble passing, but when I put overtake back on he got around him quick.

He won't overtake as quickly as he does with overtake on, but he will. He will ram the other guys or a while, and then overtake... Again, since you're already ahead by a lap (or more) - it doesn't really matter. Your only objective is to finish the race 1st. Not like you're going for lap times in B-spec mode...

Hit 50% - the Jag XJR-9 race car is quite bad ass. Very stable (unlike the 787B) and handles great. Ran 5:41 @ the Ring my first lap out, it was hardly a clean lap. I think it can do low 5:30's with killer driving, 5:20's with a flawless perfect lap at 11/10ths... oh yeah, this is 100% stock, just supersoft tires, haven't added the turbo upgrade....

i used the minolt in the 24 hour b-spec race and i was ahead of second place by 29 laps. i put my driver on 3 with overtake on and thats how i did it.

Does he always bump the guy when trying to overtake? My driver is getting good skill but I figured with more expereince he will learn how to drive like the master. Me!

I"ve left overtake on and almost lost a race. I notice that if I do 3 on turns and 5 on straights with overtake then I do well.

I was looking at mantis' avatar, and thought "ooh, if those were a set of racing tires, they would cost me 22,000 credits"...

I need to stop thinking about the game.

You guys have to check out the F1 warmup video that was just posted in ramblings. Be sure to crank up the volume!!!

Sorry to play Mr. Pointer but the actual thread title doesn't really hint at what it is and I wanted make sure you real racing fans got a chance for a peek (and a listen).

Man the Cien is great for getting out the dirt. That torque is awesome. The slowest shifting car I've ever driven though.

^^^ one of you DFP people....... you got an answer for rise? I would think it's in the options menu somewhere...

just ran a 5:31 in the Jag XJR-9. I got the first 3 minutes with my digicam, in case you wanna take a look. It should have kept going but it stopped after 3 mins for some reason. I totally messed up in the end, like the turn right before the long straight.... was totally in the grass, I would have been in the 5:20's... and you will notice it's not a clean lap for the 3 mins either.

7mb video, right-click to save as

apologize in advance for the crude quality of the video, I used Microsoft Movie Maker... ... I need a new capture card.

So when racing how many Aspec points are people getting per race? Just wondering because 59 points in some of these races and they are hella competitive.

When I was using my R34 like in the Jap Championship and putting out 400hp I was getting like 56 but winning only tracks I knew. Everything with the Z Concept is 1.

now, i'm good, long races my consistancy is off sometimes but short races i do well but i did some races with the m3 GTR last night and geeze even qualifying 1st didn't help much. The car has 413bhp. I qualified about a 1 or 2 seconds in front of people. I mean its fun....and definitely makes me better but wow....big diff from GT3.

I've been raped in a 1 point race, and easily won a 200 point race. I don't get it.

If I recall, the rape occured in the Pro Hall Classic Car Championship, the AC Cars 427 blew by me like I was going in reverse. I was in a totally modded CHEVROLET Chevelle SS 454 '70. There was no way I could win this '1 point' race.

The easy 200 point win was in the Special Condition Hall, I think it was Tsukuba Circuit Wet Hard, I was in JAGUAR XJ220 LM Edition '01 from european championship, the computer had an Audi R8 LM Race Car or something like that.

Some low point races are easy to win, and some arent. I don't know how they come up with the points, but it lacks consistency..
