Who is going to be on 5-2-06?? after 6 est? I will be on and playing for awhile. Also, post some screen names, mine is black_05_tl_6sd on BF2. Also, where is everyone on there badges? I finally got my knife badge, that one took for ever, but I got the basic and vetern at the same time. Completed all basic badges and about third of the vetern.

You should be able to run it at MED settings with no problems, but might take a while to load when switching maps. Turn off lighting in settings it will help reduce the load time.

by sad, i mean... even if it's good... it's half of what Battlefield PC is. as such, it's sad if it's trully one of the "best games" for the 360.

that makes the 360 look pretty weak/pointless.

They just couldn't get it to run. It wouldn't start... I've read somewhere that it has to do with the video processor...

Played Battlefield Modern Combat for awhile last night, XBOX360 version I mean.

Graphics are really nice. Especially on a ~60" SXRD.

Gameplay is lacking. It's comparable to SOCOM or something, but nothing like "Battlefield" as we know it on the PC. It's not bad, it's just not Battlefield.

It's more "arcade" style then Battlefield too. Not as much realism, and doesn't give you the feel like you're in a large battle or war. It's on a much smaller scale.

The choppers suck.

Fine game, but it's not Battlefield.

Pretty much sums it up. But considering the game is a port of a PS2/Xbox game I think it does show what the 360 and other "next gen" consoles are capable of.

And I know, a console FPS will never match one on a PC.

Here's a FRAP of BF2 running on a 15" 2.0ghz MBP with 1GB ram and the 5400 RPM HD...

There's a video too: http://www.bwana.org/media/bf2_mbp.mpg

That's at MEDIUM settings.

Pretty damn good.

My 2.16ghz/2GB 7200RPM 17" MBP should be here tomorrow... I'll let ya know how goes!

F9, what's with the ridicule? Most of us don't play this game for points.

I thought we established way back on like page 2 of this thread that points are bullshit and those that care about or play for them probably suck cock on occasion?

Get a life.

There is no ridicule, don't know what the problem is, he said he was close to 50K. I don't play for points we know the rank system is a joke, but at the same time I like to see my progress as I continue to play the game, that's why I play on Ranked servers, just like you.

Don't know if ya already caught this... but another expansion is on the way... and it looks dope!

Battlefield 2: Amored Fury will have the A-10 and 2 other ground attack planes as well as 3 scout choppers including the Little Bird!!!

Why can't I get the Euro Forces expansion to install? I purchased it and downloaded it and the "EA Downloader/Installer" program says it is installed and ready to play. However, every time I load BF2 I get the message asking me if I want to buy it.

Do we have a list of everyone's userID's? Also, what's the easiest way to see who's online and playing on each individual server?

I'm on. The patch seems to have fixed my problems, although now I'm "losing connection" like every 10 min. Might be my net though.
