of course. i think the surroundings will be awesome but i'm sure the game play will be equal to COD4. I read/heard rumors that they're introducing automobiles to CoD5. not sure how I feel about that.

if you're referring to the next one that's taking place in WWII (again) in the South Pacific... not really. I'm done with WWII games I hear it's technically NOT call COD5... if you're referring to the one due out next year that's modern-semi futuristic... YES

...if anything, I'm looking forward to SoCom: Confrontation.. I believe it comes out next week (PS3 only)

...and I'm pretty sure it's NOT "plasma guns", if it were... it wouldn't be "semi-futuristic" that's just futuristic... period.

my guess is... it'll be like Ghost Recon... 2012 or something, a few years into the future with prototype guns, maybe guns like the XM8... a gun that was actually designed and made, but the project with the Army got canceled (this gun was also featured in MGS4).

Like is300eater said the "futuristic" CoD would be more like Ghost Recon. I'd like to see a CoD somewhat like Ghost Recon, at least weapons wise. I remember in R6V they had an MP7, and the XM8 (my fave, the sound it makes is just badass) Also liked the Famas and the others that don't immediately come to mind

Anyone get any golden guns yet? As in not just the golden desert eagle.... the golden AK, golden uzi, etc. It's taking freaking forever for me but a golden AK47 would be sick!

I need to play with you guys more often.... I always get stuck with these lame moments of lag, in the red even. My connection was being gay since it rained a while ago.




when I was on Wet work I threw a random spam nade in the air and it blew up near a juggernaut. I got ready to throw a stun and tossed it as soon as I turned the corner/crate, and sure enough, the juggernoob was right in my face and the game ended. He survived the nade but the stun took him out as the final kill.... completely random.

like acog with m40a3 = 1 shot kill on any part of the body. and red dot sight on ak47 actually decreases the damage and helicopters shoot you based on threat level.. according to the chart, hip fire with the deagle is really good. I might consider trying last stand with a deagle and firing like mad as soon as i go down..

yeah we need to play together more often, i've been doing mercenary td these days to try and bring my k/d ratio up.. (finally got it over 2.00 )

wow sick vid! I mess around with the ACOG Barrett sometimes, but I can never use it the whole round like that. I might have to try that out. lol I got the ACOG for the M40 but I thought, how useless. And my lag is almost nonexistant most of the time but it will randomly go into the red for a while...

I used to have the deagle and last stand too, its hilarious. Trust me, you get so many cheap kills off of it mainly because people don't expect it. I was good at it for a while.... on my last stand I would snipe people halfway across maps, just gotta adjust for deagle recoil

and avoid headquarters..... your k/d will go to shit

I got my code through a gaming website. They were giving away a set number like 20,000 and they were gone quick. I know people who registered early at charlieoscardelta.com got some. You can buy one off ebay for around $5 if you really want to try it out.

Also if you preorder the game at gamestop, you get the beta code I believe..

anyway, has anyone played COD4 single player on veteran? Man it is hard. I finished a few days ago, minus the VIP plane mission after the credits. Some parts drove me CRAZY, and this last mission is no exception

lol, I never really played any of them since they all seemed kinda shitty, so I kinda liked the beta that I played for 20 minutes. Not enough to buy it though. Maybe a download for single player and a purchase on sale or something

Young, lol..... after I got your message I joined the session in progress and you weren't there

I had my M16 and was waiting there to see if you were coming back, then I got your other message. Decided to stay and kicked some ass. I got an airstrike, helicopter, then picked up a dead dude's M21 and sniped a few guys too... ended up 25-1. good thing I came back, heh. Only reason I died was because I was against the fence on the marines side, sniping guys inside the bus.... someone threw a random nade and it landed next to the fence (on the other side) but it still killed me now I know at least heh
