i like the m16 but sometimes i like to spray and just lay down rounds. i always have stopping power, deeper impact, and bandoleer on it. i think it just gotten a bit weaker after the patch, because i could own with the gun and now it seems like i can' get enough round out.

i try other guns but i always seem to not have what i want in them totally, and i end back up at the M4.

I used this this for the first few months. Now I use eith the M16 with Double Tap and red dot scope. Other times, I will use the AK47, which is totally underrated, I do alot of damage with it. I haven't unlocked the last 2 rifles yet and I cannot wait to unlock the .50 cal sniper rifle

i run M4 red dot. with the percs i said above.

for snipers i use the very first green one...i forgot the name. stopping power, deeper impact on it, one shot and very accurate i can take out anyone. i tried the 50cal and i was off with my shots and high recoil. took two shots to take someone out with that gun and the accuracy was way off. maybe it has changed with the patch.

i think i'll be on tonight....at like 9 est, if not it's my bro owning hah

I would switch deep impact or stopping power to iron lungs, i forget what perk its under 2/3, but you get more time when your holding down l3

i got stopping power and iron lungs on it....i know that, i just couldn't get clean shots with it.....maybe i'll try it tonight for the hell of it again

I can't either, the recoil is insane and an M40 is just more accurate. Funny part is in real life an M40 (the top green rifle) is just a military version of the R700 rifle so I would assume they shot the same but the M40 is so much better.

I think i know what you mean if your aiming for a head shot you might not always get it, but the barret 50 cal always hits even if you alittle off. Other then that just complete the challenges for the semi auto g3 and use the scope its an awsome gun if you gotta move and snipe which is most of the time.

I like the AK with red dot and the ACOG M14. Whats great about the M16 with stopping power though is its so insanely easy to kill someone who's sprinting with just a single 3-shot burst. The only time its easier is when you use an RPD + stopping power + grip.

I like the silenced mini Uzi with Bandolier and juggernaut though. Its just unfair. I just spray while looking through the ironsights and I'll take someone out from across a good distance (for a SMG). I'm unstoppable on vacant with that combo, unless some dude with a shotty pops up right in my face

I'll have to try the M40. I just like being excessive, the whole .50 cal + stopping power + deep impact

I bought one of those just for this. Got that $100 motorola one, and I LOVE not having to deal with the damn cord the socom mic had.

And yeah, it's good to be back, but I can't wait to get back to college. (I hate being at home)

yea i had my headset paired with my phone last, PS3 wasn't recognizing it so thats why i had to get out and back into the game. my bad if you couldn't hear me really, i'm just getting my voice back.

headset makes shit a lot easier, sometimes i don't use it if i'm just playing solo.

There's no real formal clan feature, just tags. I've been with my clan for a few years, back since SOCOM II. I'd let you in, but I'm gonna be on another few month hiatus and won't really see them till I'm off for summer.

just got this yesterday -- learning the basics. unlocked the m4, using it with the red dot sight.

think i'm using it with red dot sight. special gernades, extra health thingy, and last stand....not sure if this is ideal.

^Last stand kicks ass if you can take advantage of it. Way better than martyrdom at least in most games. Wait until you get the desert eagle as a sidearm, two well placed shots with stopping power are guaranteed to take down anyone. If you're good you'll take down 2 or 3 or more people, not to mention it always pisses them off.

I tried the M40 and I don't like it much. Maybe I just need to use it more. I like how low the recoil is though, but there were a couple times I hit a guy in the chest and he kept running, though the 2nd shot definitely took him down. I had stopping power and he had juggernaut (saw the + icon when I shot him)

That's called prestige mode.... and its only if you choose to. Personally I wouldn't do it. The only thing you get out of it is a shiny new badge which is pretty ugly anyways.
