I've been swallowed whole by Mass Effect, then recently lent my 360 to my brother so I could play with a bunch of people on Rock Band. JJ do you still play with that guy minion or something? Its almost boring playing with them now, we win almost all the time, and get no respect... the funnyness of the 98 tag has worn off

I usually play by myself in Hardcore Search and destroy. Its more realistic in that if I shoot you in the head, you die. Instead of the times I have done one shot to the head with a sub machine gun and the guy just looks at me...

I play with them if they are all on though, its something to do I also dont understand why people get upset at our clan name so much...is it that threatening?

I love people who call "camping" in search and destroy...REALLY?! So I am supposed to defend a place so I setup my claymores, go prone, and pull out the 50 cal then own about 3 of them and they all start crying. What am I supposed to do? Run around and do CQB with a 50 cal?

if you're in a no re spawn type game (seatch and destroy, headquarters), sure you have to camp because of the nature of the game type. but if you're playing a deathmatch or free for all with unlimited respawns, come on...

As far as the camping goes... I dont mind it cuz if you camp you usually get a low score. Deaths dont count against you in TDM and DM or Dom. or any respawn games. So might as well run and gun.
But there are times were I will camp in a spot or snipe in a spot or even sit on a mounted machine gun and get 5-10 kills in a row before someone decides to sneak up behind me. If you get killed by the same camper more that 2 times in a row then thats your own fault.

i don't consider that camping. if you have a good spot where you can snipe or mow people down with a mounted gun, that's cool - more power to you. At least that takes skill because you still have to aim. Like you said, if you get killed by the same guy more than 2 times, then you're the sucker.

I'm talking about the guys who hide/crouch in an alley and wait for someone to run by and then shoot them from behind point blank. Where's the skill in that? It's just my pet peeve - obviously i'm in the minority.

I do this whenever we play Domination on Ambush. We get A, and B and then hold the street. Usually 2-3 people guarding each street so they can't cross it and we have a sniper sitting in a building to take out anyone who tries to take B. I sit on the farthest street to the left with my RPD, its a bottleneck so I end up with at least 40 to 50 kills. Its funny because we are all getting air strikes that we can't use them.

I like the ol' stun grenade then grenade in a group of guys... I've gotten 3 kills at once several times doing it this way. The stun grenade holds them in place...

This is probably the most addicting FPS I've played. One day when I was sick and had nothing to do I played for 4 hours. 2 hours, meal, then later on played another 2.

1. silenced M16, frag x3, stopping power, last stand.... mostly long-range maps
2. silenced p90, see above.... cqb + mid-range maps
3. rpd, claymore, stopping power, last stand.... when I feel like spamming
4. pump-shotgun, frag x3, juggernaut, martyrdom.... all cqb
5. Barrett .50 cal sniper, claymore, stopping power (with the .50 cal...heh), last stand... when I feel like being a being a little pansy camper

Last Stand kicks ass, and I always have the Desert Eagle as a sidearm. Its fucking hilarious when someone shoots me from a distance, then when I'm on my Last Stand, I spot them and snipe them from halfway across the map with the Desert eagle. I can't imagine seeing that death-cam replay and not thinking, WTF? Sometimes depending on the map I'll go unsilenced and substitute with a grenade launcher.

Now the mounted machine gun spammers are annoying. The one map with the rain and the houses, if you spawn on one side with the chain-link fence with a hole in it, you can just get on that mg and just spam left to right and get tons of kills. Fucking lame.

I find myself using the LMG almost all the time, with stopping power and deep impact. I was typically around 15+ kills and <10 deaths last night.

I wouldn't imagine there is a worthwhile difference between the 3 that would justify purchasing a 2nd copy of it for a different platform.

Although PC > * in terms of graphics, sound, controls, etc.

However, I like the XBOX360 interface.

Steve, the interface for the game is the same on both the pS3 and 360, just spent time playing it on the PS3

my testament is from me - a ps3 on a 50in plasma

to my friend's 360 hooked up to a 120in infocus hd projector

maybe it is just me, but i think the ps3 has better colors... more solid, more truth to them

however, i think the 360 is smoother to textures... but the ps3 i think has better graphics for almost every multi platform game up to your eyes though

both interfaces for controls are similar

you can't compare plasma to projector, even if the plasma is 4 years old and the projector is HD, but both consoles on the plasma, I'm sure they'll look pretty close
