Im pretty sure its just for bragging rights. You go back to level 1 and start to level up again, you can do this up to 12 times i think.

i cant stop playing this game....i think the prestige mode is great so it gives you a reason to constinantly play. im on level 10 on the 3rd prestige. I keep playing to get my guns back, then do it again!

I played online for the first time this past weekend. Its very difficult and frustrating to me. Maybe I'm just not used to it yet, but people just don't seem to die no matter how many times I shoot them, but they can shoot me two times and I'm dead. Can't remember the last time I did so much cursing on a FPS game.

ya that happens a lot. if they have double tap or stopping power they can kill you faster. as far as shooting them a thousand times and not killing them, try aiming a lil lower than u think. i've found that if u aim at the groin area, they die quicker. this increases with distance, the farther they are the lower i aim. you will know if you are hitting them by the little white x on the screen.

...well, I know for a fact I've played pipeline on domination... there's the flag on the railroad track, one between the water towers, and the 3rd one up in the grassy area by the other spawn

Big maps like Pipeline have been a part of the rotation for Ground War from the beginning. But the update will allow you to play it in regular domination with a max of 6v6.

Seems tough to cover a huge map like that with only 6 people on a team, and you know 1-2 will try to be snipers.

my kill/death ratio is terrible.

finally figured out that i have enough of a continuous lag that always gave me a disadvantage. I went and got a new router and now at least I have a better chance against other people and my ratio has gotten better.
