This game is really crazy. I played it for about an hour and after I was done I had to go out somewhere. I got in my car, and I ran across a cop car - I wanted to ram him. I saw people walking, I wanted to run them over. I wanted to slide around every corner. Thankfully I am a rather mild individual and was able to control my first-reaction impulses.

I was thinking about this game and the violence and all it is is a game of cops and robbers you have been playing since you were a kid. Except a billion times better. If they even develop a holadeck ala Star Trek, this game will be addicting!@

I bought a PS3 mainly because of this game. I wasn't even into console games until last year when I finally got a Wii.
I've always been a huge GTA fan so it just seemed logical.
Best part of this game, its a giant sandbox. Go ahead and do whatever the hell you feel like. Bad day at the office? Go terrorize the place.

For all the people stuck on missions!

I had to look up which mission that was since theres like 100 of those bitches and I never look at the name so I just found this site with Walkthroughs for every mission, videos.
I use my COD 4 techniques in this game. I always carry the M4a1 aka the Combat rifle and I stalk them. Another thing I do is Kill from afar with the sniper rifle.
Theres going to be a mission where you have to destroy heroin, my tip is to snipe the guy off the top of the building then use grenades and rocket launchers to blow up the H.

Yep, that rifle is by far the best. Works long range and kills dudes in a heartbeat. If you are ever having trouble with a mission, s l o w d o w n. Toss grenades around blind corners. Creep up stairwells. There are really very few missions where you have to go quickly. In any of them where you have to shoot a bunch of guys, the guy you are after won't continue until you get past a certain point.

Now to stop for the anti-GTA advocation.... this game is so damn fun, more than half the time I've been playing this game wasn't even on missions, mainly just dicking around. Getting 4 stars and trying to get away without using the safehouse, camping out somewhere to see how long you can last against the SWAT team, etc.
Let me also just say that the shotguns are rigged, at least when the cops use them.

Drifting
I think I would be worried about that sort of stuff, but carmageddon successfully warped my driving brain long before I played a gta game. Heck it gave you bonuses for running over people. And unlike gta it actually had no redeeming features .

I keep getting killed in the first mission with Playboy X in Manhattan, where you have to climb the tower, snipe the guys on post, then kill the four bosses on the construction site.

Hey Zero, I just finished this mission. To make your life easier, when your sniping the three guys from the building top dont go down right away. If you look north through the scope(at max zoom) where the cranes were, you will see more guys on the roof tops. Take them out with sniper gun, then when you go down kill the workers there should only be 5 of them. Once you clear them and you go up the ramp all the guys on the roof (the bosses) should be dead. Be careful incase you missed someone...go east across the roof and around the corner there will be 2 guys and a boss. You can kill the two goons from the corner with ur rifle, and use the sniper gun on the boss. Next go to where the boss was standing...you will see a copter dropping off guys ( alot of them). You should be standing behind one of the girders on the ground, take cover there and chuck over as many nades as you can at the on coming stampeed. This should take care of all of their back up and should be easy from their. Hope this helps/makes sense.

Nothing that I know of yet...havent really explored that option. Best bet is to buy armour before you start the mission. Generally, most missions where you take alot of heat there are health packs/first aid kits lying around which restore you to full. Usually its in an area between fights or just before a big one is expected. Hopefully we can buy first aid kits/health from somewhere...
