For getting away from cops, I try to get a fast and stable car and just blast it down the highway. Eventually you will get away. The cars that look like Mercedes E class are great.

I Just got the game and have been playing for a day, but has anyone noticed how slow the guy walks vs vice city speed or is that just me?

Yeah I somehow ended up with a full wanted level, after I came out of the water. I jumped back in the water, but I was still getting shot, and eventually died.

Way too annoying, I would rather drive around and lose it then to sit there and swim 2 miles out.

How do you guys control speed on PS3? Thats one thing I always liked over PS was the fact that you could easily half push triggers on 360.

You can do that on the R2 and L2 triggers for ps3.

Another part, when you unlock the lambo is when you are doing missions for the Fag Bernie.

You can get money from the taxi, but it's not the same as in previous versions. Call Ramon and select "job". There's a vigilante sidebar, too...after completing some mission (don't know which), you can access a police computer in a cop car and it tells you who to get.

Has anyone gone back to the cabaret after killing Faustin? I took Michelle there and after the show I was walking out and these guys were like "How dare you show your face here!" and I ran out followed by dozens of cloned russian thugs in suits. Running them over and watching them ragdoll has to be the funniest thing I've ever seen.

Good to know for the future motorcycle missions. I tried shooting him before he got on the bike but couldn't do it fast enough. I re did the mission at least 10 times until i finally shot him while i was on the bike. i was about ready to throw my controller against the wall.

One thing about GTA that is kinda annoying is that i feel like every mission is like "find bad guy, he runs away, you have to chase him around half the city, gun him down." i'm really tired of the chase missions.

For Jacob's package delivery missions, do we have to stay in that POS car? I've been having trouble completing the missions cuz it accelerates/handles like complete shit.

Someone linked me to that the other day. I'm too burnt out on the game to try it out though.

The gameplay is really pissing me off, I don't understand how in a world of assassin's creed and crackdown they came up with such a crappy ladder mechanic. Also re parking my car during a mission and switching to my fists during a cutscnene in the middle of a fire fight is getting pretty old too.

I didn't get a chance to play a lot this weekend like I planned to. I only got to the mission after killing Faustin and haven't been online yet.

Or how sometimes you will come up to a knee high ledge that is too high to just walk over, but too low to climb over, so you have to jump... but you can only jump over it if you are moving, so you have to back up and aim yourself at it. Or how to climb a fence you have to run+jump on a straight line, so you can't run alongside a fence and then climb it.

There are a ton of these little stupid things that seem like they should have been figured out back in PS2 days.

The worst in this game is that you can't run or do anything when you are on the phone. So many missions end with you being chased by the cops, but then you automatically make a phone call and you have to walk in super slow motion until you can hang up the call...dumb.

BTW to avoid extra stars don't shoot at shit unless you have too.

I just did a mission where you had to move heroin for the mafia and I shot the police who were on the ground in front of me, and blew up a heli and only got 3 stars. After I hopped in the truck, no more shooting. It stayed at 3 stars and I got away easy.

The first time I tried it I just shot the shit out of everyone, got 6 stars and was fucked up by the FBI.

BTW the FBI drive Dodge Chargers...kinda bad ass
