360, PS3: Grand Theft Auto IV **Tops $500 Million in first week (page 14)**

They are counting down to the trailer release for it on their site. Less than 6 days remaining.
Is it final that GTA will now be out on the 360 from the start and not out on PS3 with a later release on 360 as before?

Sony Slipped up on this in my opinion, they couldve made this a selling point for the PS3 buying gettin exclusivity from Rockstar but microsoft made the right move by not only getting GTA IV but getting it at the same time as the playstation (never happened before)

Microsoft is reportedly considering an acquisition of troubled publisher Take Two. That's the same Take Two that owns Rockstar Games, which develops the Grand Theft Auto series.
Let's say the deal is true, and it goes through. It presumably wouldn't affect the upcoming Grand Theft Auto IV, which is coming out for both PS3 and Xbox 360. But you'd have to wonder whether future versions would make it to Sony's console. On the upside, PS3 owners might be spared any more Manhunt games...

Hmm, it looks good, though they need to make the player models look better. The dudes face had the ugliest bitmaps I have seen.

'10 Hyundai Genesis Coupe
The game looks a lot better than the PS2 versies on GTA, that's reason enough to buy this game. Also the main character seems pretty cool and the story I'm willing to bet will be awesome.

Grand Theft Auto IV has been delayed until Take Two's first fiscal quarter, which runs between February and April 2008. The game was originalyl scheduled to ship this October, and it was widely speculated that Microsoft committed to a September release for Halo 3 specifically to appease Take Two and give them a full month of "buzz" for GTA IV.
Take Two didn't give any specific cause for the delay, other than saying that certain parts of the game's development "proved to be more time-intensive than expected."
