I am going to a friends house this weekend for a poker game. I know he has GTA 4 for 360. Maybe I will try it out...
Unless of course, I have no chance to...

The pull is longer so its much easy to control the gas. Plus I like how the xbox has the dpad and joystick switched, much better IMO

I found the best way to get rid of any wanted level. In manhattan, there's a place near the northwest edge of middle park that lets you drive onto the subway tracks. Just drive down there and the cops won't follow or see you, no matter what the wanted level

Its so much fun to troll people with the helicopter in freeplay. I've gotten really good at flying it so I'll be chasing them down shooting at them, its especially fun when they're at the airport and you show up and chase them down the runways and shoot them off their motorcycles or in their cars. Sometimes if I can get around the side I'll fly sideways and get em that way, and they usually try to blow up the other helis or guard them so I cant get to them. In the last game I got a bunch of kills with the Annihilator but they all started gunning for me and when I respawned they would hunt me down

I agree I like freeplay. What I found I enjoy doing is getting a car to go up in flames, and parking it in an area with a lot of traffic. It ends up like a chain reaction; car after car after car just keeps blowing up.

Oh yeah there are snipers in the game too. I noticed when I would drive around with 6 stars there would be no Heli's or cars behind me and I would here random shots hitting my car. I always suspected but was never sure till the dude I was driving with, one of dwaynes boys, was shooting up in the air and there were dots where police should be with arrows pointing up.

The girls: SPOILER
So here goes.
go to the internet cafe and look up the lovematch girls. one of them is sobohoe and the other is lawchick.
lawchick (kiki) is a rich girl and she grew up privelaged, she appreciates it when you pick her up in big bodies like the chrysler 300 look-alike, the chargers, and the range rovers.
in order to impress her on your first date, i recommend you wear the black boots with blue jeans and the all black sweater.
take her out on a date to the 60's diner because she doesnt like it when you get too flashy.
get her number. fuck her on the second date. DONT fuck her on the third and she will send you a picture of her ass . then fuck her again and she will give you the ability to call her and remove your wanted level because she knows the DA.
DO NOT DRIVE WRECKLESSLY. SHE HATES THIS
Next chick is sobohoe (carmen)
carmen is a latin hoodrat
pick her up in a turismo that has NO DAMAGE.
wear the cream colored blazer with the orange shirt under it. and i believe the pants already come with that outfit.
wear the white shoes with the brown pattern and she will gawk and compliment you for the entire ride.
take her to the restarant called "superstar" by your safehouse in the north of the middle island and she will definitely ask you to call her back.
after that you can just keep picking her up in the ferraris and lambos and she will love you.
since she is a nurse..after she realizes she really likes you. she gives you the ability to call her and restore your health over the phone!
SHE LOVES WHEN YOU DRIVE FAST AND DODGE TRAFFIC
Notes: take them out on dates no sooner than 2 days apart. you can date them at the same time.
they only let you make the special phone calls 3 times before you gotta take them out again and make them "like you" more.
i havent figured out kate yet because i shot someone in front of her and we are on bad terms.

And there are those times i promise to pick her up but end up blowing myself up along the way.
BTW... is it me or does the amount of money you lose per death scale in this game with how much you have?! I swear I'm losing like 30-40K everytime I die right now.

GTA IV star only made $100,000
Niko Bellic wants his money.
By Ben Silverman
Forget liberty - give us residuals or give us death. It's a sentiment shared by countless actors, and one most poignantly offered by Michael Hollick, better known as the voice of GTA IV's immigrant star, Niko Bellic.
In a New York Times article, Hollick revealed that he earned about $100,000 for 15 months of work recording dialogue for his role as GTA IV's protagonist. The game, however, has gone on to rake in over $600 million in a mere two weeks.
And Hollick won't see a dime of it.
"It's tough, when you see Grand Theft Auto IV out there as the biggest thing going right now, when they're making hundreds of millions of dollars, and we don't see any of it," Hollick told the Times. "I don't blame Rockstar. I blame our union for not having the agreements in place to protect the creative people who drive the sales of these games."
The pay discrepancy stems from the fact that Hollywood has yet to make provisions for electronic media, including video games or the Internet. Instead, actors get paid standard Screen Actor's Guild day wages for their work (roughly $730), leaving them out of the lucrative residual loop should a property become financially successful. When it becomes as successful as GTA IV, an actor could be out literally millions.
Hollick is also peeved that he received no additional compensation for lending his voice to the game's massive marketing blitz.
"The first GTA 4 trailer generated something like 40 million hits online, and that's my voice all over it, and I get nothing. If that were a radio spot, I would have. Same thing for the TV ads. I recorded those lines for the game, but now they're all over television."
Further muddling matters is the fact that numerous artists, programmers and engineers contribute to the creation of a virtual character like Niko Bellic. Where, execs claim, do you draw the residual line?
We suspect they're about to find out. The issue bears a distinct resemblance to last year's writer's strike, leading many to speculate a similar battle between the Actor's Guild and Hollywood this summer. After spending a few weeks playing GTA IV, I wouldn't bet against the Niko. Have you seen what that guy would do for money?

Poor little bitch, he made more money than 70% of other people made, maybe more. He wanted to do the job, he knew how well the other titles did. What did he do talk into a microphone, looking at his resume on imdb, he's lucky he got this job.

Does he honestly think that his voice helped sell $600 million worth of the game? I hope not.
Did he read the contract before he signed it?
GTA4 would have made that much money if Fran Drescher voiced the main character

You'd have to be living in a cave on Mars to not know this was going to be the biggest release of the year whenever it came out and that it would generate hundreds of millions in revenue. To not ask for more was stupid. Then again, to make $100k for doing nothing...
Either way, he needs to quit bitching.

This is the bullshit that is most likely going to cause another strike in my industry, which will more then likely hurt me a lot this time around. I managed to work the whole time last strike.
Its not his unions fault. Its his managers fault, its his fault, for not working residuals into his contract. I'm sure this is all happening right now, to put pressure on to the unions..to make this front page, and push for the strike.
Sure, he deserves residuals for his work...but fuck him for not having the balls to negotiate his contract. He made a pretty this year, be happy. He was probably waiting tables for last 6...

I think GTA4 is easier than GTA San Andreas....The ending is not what I've expected.
The funnest part is getting the 6 stars, I start wars with cops, lol.... Find a dead end location, and you can do this for hours, lol.
I see some of you guys are trying extra hard to get laid in the game...I hope it's easier for you in real life
PS The game ends at 60%, the other 40% are the 2nd tier missions: racing, collecting and delivery packages, assassinating...etc...etc..

I just noticed a few things I hadn't before. When you're on the phone and driving, you can't pull the handbrake because Niko's holding the phone. Kinda cool, but it ended up sending me hurtling onto the sidewalk, mowing down a bunch of people and flipping my Turismo a couple times in spectacular fashion.
I also held up some dudes in a Rav4 looking thing, I got the two in front out at gunpoint and went around the side to the guy in the backseat. He was jamming out with his headphones on and I stood there with the gun pointed at his head for about 5 seconds before he noticed I was there. I think he probably crapped his pants, the look on his face was hilarious
