I would save the eBay page. Things have a way of disappearing on the net. That is the only real proof of the terms of the auction. If that somehow gets deleted, you may as well grab some sledding dogs up there for transportation.

San Marcos will get Austin news on cable, San Antonio and Austin news over the air (it's in between, but closer to Austin). San Marcos is full of half-ass businesses and shady people. YNN is the new "Channel-8 News" that is a news only channel. You may try the Hays County Free Press, KTBC (Fox Austin), KXAN (NBC Austin), KVUE (ABC Austin), KEYE (CBS Austin), and the Austin American Statesman (daily paper). Also the San Antonio Express News (daily paper) will reach that area.
Nobody likes San Marcos except for the river. Not that you should have known this or that it changes the principle, but I would never buy a car in SM.

If an attorney does a search of the interwebs the ONLY results they should see from you is your story. That's it. No links, nothing else... just the story. Anything else can be used against you in a defamation suit.
Honestly, if you are going to get an attorney and will be pursuing this... even posting the updates you are posting will be used against you. They should be between you and eBay (or the BBB or whoever) and not published for the general public to see...

If an attorney does a search of the interwebs the ONLY results they should see from you is your story. That's it. No links, nothing else... just the story. Anything else can be used against you in a defamation suit.

He is shooting himself in the foot over and over again....if he wants the car.
Otherwise it's the OP doing "retaliation" to the dealership for not getting to purchase the car.
