+1 with Majofo....stay safe out there....
I have a 4 point racing harness in my car and I make sure I am fully buckled up....dont know when some idiot is gonna do something stupid....
Guess I may as well make my contribution as well. 2 years ago, didn't realize how slick the highway was and lost control in my 3.0CL. Walked away with pretty much just a cut and learned from that to always drive more carefully and do whatever to make sure it doesn't happen again.

^Thanks for posting, I've been looking for this thread.
Funny, when I wrecked my very first car, the damage looked the same.
In my case I would have been better off without the guardrail, as I would have simply been stuck in a field next to the freeway.

that was not direct to you sir...but I have seen a lot of people just driving like a dumbass recently....
just this morning (since it was raining I took the wifeys car
and I have the Blackvue installed in it), this lady is driving on the shoulder....for a little bit, half the car was on road but on the exit ramp, she was completely on the shoulder...just that level of stupidity made me feel the Blackvue was a good idea in the wife's car....
Unfortunately, there aren't many fields off the Garden State Parkway in Bergen County. Likely would have ended up in the huge shopping mall or a different highway.
LOL reminds me of the time traffic was backed up on the interstate and some guy decides to pull a u-turn through the median. The cop was only a few cars behind him and simply turned with him. I enjoyed watching it.
Seriously, there just seems to be zero fucks given in that whole country. Pedestrians walk in front of cars, people cut each other off, trucks do crazy shit ... It's vehicular anarchy.
That reminds me of crashes off the autobahn.. plenty of cars lose it at a high rate of speed only to get wrapped around a tree. I remember seeing a car wrapped and suspended around a tree years ago. You're pretty much collecting body parts, the body looks as though it was pressed through a meat grinder.
