Well, I know in NC you can get a ticket for "blocking" the passing lane. You either pass or move right into the slow lane. Whether or not you get a speeding ticket on top of it is another matter.

So in that case what the Ford driver was doing was illegal.

The whole time I'm watching it I'm like, back off dude... back off. Of course I'm watching a video knowing an accident is about to occur... but still... if that were me I would have definitely increased my following distance a bit more...

All that was rolling in my mind were scenes of the trailer jack knifing and decapitating him.
