Well...the S2000 needed more doors, more driven wheels, and a lot more torque...

supposedly these are not that easy to track down.
I drove my first single motor model 3 the other day and felt exactly how I predicted.
It was cool as fuck and I don't have to have one yet. I am excited about the future though...
I'll enjoy electric one day.

They don't look bad with & without the covers, though the lack of centercap doesn't look great.
Definitely better looking than the aero covers on the 3.

Glad you liked it! Try out the dual motor, it's even more of a party lol. It's good to hear that you're not dreading the shift like some are. EV life isn't bad at all, the cars are fun to drive and don't require any wrenching or upkeep.
Guessing they'll have center caps to buy soon enough. I hate the look with the aero covers but would put them on for a trip where range is important. Half the reason I'm not going with the AT tires is to get more range doing what I intend to do with it 99.9% of the time. Still have Jeep to bash on rocks lol.

I've heard that a battery pack isn't a great bash plate option... Should be sufficient for hopping curbs though.
I might just look into aftermarket options in the future. Ditto for smaller rims and AT tires.

I've heard that it's super good at off road from all the reviews done so far. Having a motor at each wheel is a huge advantage though I wish they'd have an e-locker option for front and rear. That's something that can easily come in the future though.
I don't think I'll be offroading mine...at least not right away. Wife says I can't take a $70k truck down some trails...

We're going to see a lot of improvements in battery tech over the next few years. Most of it will be pretty incremental but it's definitely coming.

Well that and the fact that you need a big amount of electricity to make hydrogen for automotive use to begin with. Why bother when you can just use that same energy to drive the car?

Welp, Jeep is officially relisted for sale. It's time to try out another automotive experience soon. I loved my time with the thing and am sad to see it go but I can say that I'll almost definitely have another one in the future.

I wish. I'd have to take out a second mortgage to pay for the fuel lol.
On that note though, I just found out that I could make $10k over what I paid by offloading the Tesla now which makes for an incredibly appealing proposition... I think I'm just going to list both and keep whichever doesn't sell lol. Getting $10k over what I paid for the Tesla will make the Rivian a $0 additional cost out of pocket exercise.

4xe JLUR on the way?

Lol no, no 4xe or Gladiator on the way. Both would be redundant with the inbound R1T.
The Jeep will get replaced with something fun, loud, and having three pedals. The replacement for the Tesla will be a cheaper car as to hold the gap until the Rivian shows up. All the talk about the Accord 2.0T makes me want one of those but might even go with an older JGC or a Cayenne, who knows. I'll cross that bridge if/when I get there.
I did get an offer to buy the Tesla for $65500 without even trying or sending pics lol.

Cayenne. Should be able to scratch that itch without much loss when you sell.
WK2, probably depreciated enough, but not going to hold value as well.
$65k sight unseen? Not sure what you're in it for, but that seems a decent deal without putting any effort into it.

Bought for $58k not including tax. Also have a set of winter wheels/tires but those weren't factored into the $65k. Going to list for $67k and see what happens. Just need to give it a wash and interior detail first.

That's a nice profit indeed.
Perfect timing to make the jump & get a 'beater' until the R1T gets there.

Yeah Teslas are still commanding dumb money. KBB on mine is right at $70k, which is more then it is today from Tesla
Sam - yours was $58k before TTL? Thats the same price I paid. I could've swore the Perf price was inflated between your purchase and mine.

There are so many black and white Teslas around... Oddly enough I see a ton of red ones too which is surprising given the cost of that color. Don't see a ton of blue ones and the silver ones are really rare but very good looking.

Black white & red are the most common color I see around here on the 3.
Have only seen 1 or 2 in blue, don't think I've ever seen silver.
One of the ladies in our procurement office is in her husband's 3 today, dark gray, which looks nice too.
