The wait was worth it---the Dream Daily Driver is here finally.....
Ever since the new Gen S-Class came out, I knew I would do everything to have it one day. I even passed up on an ATS and "slummed" in a 2013 Camry SE (and people thought I was crazy here). Well, patience is certainly a virtue, and I'm extremely grateful with the new possession.
So on the showroom of Prestige MB was the MOST BEAUTIFUL S-550 4-matic I laid my eyes on. Apparently, some guy special ordered this car and waited several months for it. In those months, some unfortunate circumstances happened and he could no longer afford the car. According to the owner of Prestige MB, it's the only one in this combo in the country. Lunar Blue on the Designo Deep Sea Blue optional interior (a $5,500) special option at that. Anyway, I made them pull it out of the showroom to take it for a test drive and I was obviously in Love.
This was the most expensive car I've ever purchased, so it was a bit of a hassle, but the wait was worth it. She is home.
Massage anyone?
This car has 360 degree camera coverage, it drives itself and stops its self with the parktronic/distronic option package.....
Designo interior option....worth the 5.5K......
The Burmester audio is unreal.....
I need a chauffeur.......
Home.....
Amazing color in the sun....
Surprised at the meat of the PZero Nero's on the optional 20" wheels...
The car drives like a dream. The twin turbo V8 has gobs of power throughout the band. I truly am very thankful to have such an amazing machine in the driveway. Thanks for looking.
That looks stunning. The color combination works together flawlessly.
A neighbor a couple of houses down has a black one with those multi spoke wheels and I love the look with a slight tint.
My grandmother has a 2014 S550 (non-4Matic) with the 19" Sport package, premium pkg, warmth & comfort, and I believe driver assist & I love when I get to take it for a bit. Fantastic car & drives like it's smaller than it really is.
Not a huge fan of the tan, but really like the seats
Congrats on the purchase.

I believe all S-Class cars sold in the US are the same wheelbase.
I do feel that any high-end luxury vehicle must offer dual moonroof these days considering some of the common-folk sedans are offering the same feature.
In any case, we all know that feature-set alone is not what differentiates the higher-end vehicles from the rest of the pack. It's the way those features are executed: the level of quality, materials used, seamless integration, flawless execution, etc, etc.
Congrats! That is one stunning S-Class; I didn't even know that kind of interior was available but it looks gorgeous. My coworker got his C from Prestige and I've wanted to just see that new showroom since my friends live around Paramus and I would always see an SLS in there when I pass by. Awesome exterior color too. Had a customer with an S63 coupe a few months ago but I didn't like how his was configured nearly as much as yours.
This is the finest S-Class to come from Mercedes since the W140 ended production in 1998 or so. I checked one out at the auto show and bought a lottery ticket the very next day. It's an astonishing machine and I agree, the audio system is unreal.
