ill shoot you a message when me and the boys with the Vettes play hooky and do some day runs up to bear mountain...
and also agree on the service Prestige MB provide... we purchased a car from there and they were always top notch...
Please do brother. I'll shoot you a PM now.
Sorry for the late response, I've had a lot going on. Here are some night shots of the interior as requested. It looks like a rolling night club I can't say enough good things about this amazing machine. The quality of the ride, the features, the build quality, the power from any speed/RPM.....I can go on, but I won't. On to some random night shots.....
Thanks again everyone for the feedback. It is much appreciated.
1. I find it interesting that '55' is marked in red on the speedo. I thought that had vanished when the double nickel limit was repealed in '95.
2. Who's not buckling up?
haha, I knew someone would comment on the seat belt, or lack there of in the photo.
Those "red marks" on the speedo are not actually speed limit markers, rather they are speeds where the car will drive/steer/brake for itself with the DISTRONIC feature.
Thanks again guys for all the comments. The color combo and entire car has been a real treat. What an amazing car MB has put together with this new gen S-class.
MB has always had a nice interior built with quality materials. I still remember riding in my friends W210 99 E55 AMG back in the day. It was the original tuxedo axe murderer. A modern hot rod that was plush all around, all the latest tech, even had a built-in phone with voice recognition. Cutting edge at the time. They definitely keep upping the bar.
Yummy and Maj giving compliments without a Cougar comment thrown in. haha
That's how I know I got something special right here
And yes, the craftsmanship is out of this world on this car. The little details are amazing. Also, what surprises me the most is the effortless power this thing has! This feels every bit of a 12 second 4800 lb beast. With no drama to boot.....
Im wondering about getting a Brabus tune and making this thing as quick as the AMG for a fraction of the cost. Decisions......

The 1st time I let the car drive itself I was paranoid Then I see it stay in lane and brake for itself as the car infront of me slowed down. Then it reaccelerated to keep pace. It was EPIC.
I've reached a conclusion that this IS pound for pound, dollar for dollar, the best car in the world right now.
Beautiful car for sure. That thing would be super comfy on a long road trip. I'm not too crazy about the interior lighting though. Reminds me of a bar or something. Might look better in person.
Well, I had my S550 at the dealer due to curbing my right passenger rim. Glad I got the rim/tire warranty. Fixed for no cost and looks like brand new. The car is so large, you underestimate how close you get to a curb. Lesson learned for sure. Anyway, when I was at the dealer, my S550 was parked next to an AMG package S550 vs. my special ordered Lunar Blue/Designo Deep Sea Blue interior non-AMG package S550 which had the $2200 20" inch non-AMG wheels ordered in-leu of the package. Made for some good comparison shots. My car actually looks longer and sleeker without those side skirts. The guy who special ordered my S550 really knew what they were doing. I would have made the mistake of ordering the AMG package if I ordered it myself. What do you guys think?
And, of course in the showroom was a perfect S63 AMG coupe......
I think 40 y/o immature kid for the remainder of his life.

Nice cars.
Thanks. But wasn't a 458 italia that someone owns recently posted in a separate thread? Congrats Nokiaman BTW. Best of luck with her.

I thought it would be an interesting comparison. Isn't this what we do on a car forum? Compare vehicles. Saving $5900 for an AMG package may be an interesting consideration for some out there...

Translation:
Hey guys, its me again. I didn't post for over 6 months until I bought this super expensive car that I just HAD to show everyone. And since I suck at driving it and rashed a curb, I just needed to post pics comparing to the same in a different trim level to make me feel better about it being the package it is, did I mention it was a custom order package? Each leather seat was cut from a single piece of hide from a virgin Samoan girl.
So anyway, dont you think the trim kit on the AMG package makes this car not look as good as MINE? I'm pretty insecure. LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME.

Do I go and crap on your threads? Did I make any inappropriate, or any remarks for that matter, when you crashed your challenger? No because if you don't have anything nice or productive to say, so it's generally the classy thing to keep your mouth shut. I'm glad your children were safe, however.
Have you ever sought counseling? I have some friends that could really help you.
