Thanks guys for all the positive feedback. I sincerely appreciate it. I wish you all the best of luck in getting the car(s) of you're dreams.
Bob, no I did not get rid of my Vette. You know I'm keeping her for life at this point with all the money I dumped in her. The NSX will be going to Barrett Jackson, and I hope to get the supercar of my dreams next if it sells well and I don't end up feeling like Richard Rollings.
And no, the S-Class is NOT for sale. Not knocking the Stingray in anyway, but that was a freak coincidence to pick one of the 1st Vins produced. I'm a power junky at this point, and when I lined it up with my fully-bolted C6 (my bro driving my C6) and he walked away from me, the car was for sale the next day. Selling it for more than I bought it for was the true icing on the cake ($ well sent to the piggy bank for the S-class)
As was said, this new S-Class truly is in a class of it's own. The ride quality, the dash stroking quality, the stereo, the twin turbo V8, the Massage feature that is perfected to Brookstone quality in a car, the feel behind the wheel like you're on top of the world---you can't put a price on it and I am grateful to have such an amazing vehicle.
One funny thing I've noticed the past few days are the dirty looks from C-class owners and an occasional E-class owner. But that's ok
One more thing, I love the LED lighting options. Tons of colors to choose from but I like the blue and red. Nothing like opening the door to this after a hard day of work.....
Thanks again guys for all the feedback. Wish you all the best.
I've driven a few Audis and BMWS recently and came away thinking if this luxury I'll stick with my Acuras. Mercedes on the other is on a whole other level.

That is very odd. I know owners of several different classes and have never heard of "class envy". Either way, very nice! I'm trying to convince the misses to look at the S-Class coupe... but she likes sedans better.

Maybe you've driven the wrong ones. I know everyone has their preference but newer Audi's and even BMW's make the TL look like an Accord...
Love the LED lighting options in the car. Does it have the air fragrance system as well?
Yea, it sprays everytime you start the car. It's funny, I asked the salesman "what happens what it runs out." His response was funny, " you can come here and pay $100 or fill it on your own, but tell anyone I told you."

Quote of the thread. I did something I never thought I would do in my life, and I mean it. I sat it the car, bumped the Burmester audio and stroked the dash. hahaha

Yea, I'm back for good. Although I was grateful for Texas, I'm a "yankee" and the NJ/NYC area is where I belong. I love it here. Too bad the old Park Ave/AZ meets are not the same. Times have changed for us O.G's. Hopefully we can meet up sometime this summer.

Thanks again man as always. Yea, Nspec was a really good friend of mine, one I'm going to miss leaving Texas. Justin didn't hang out enough, but he was a good dude, and he hides he was my friend for some of the haters here who don't know me.

Speaking of which, do you have reading comprehension or are you just a troll? Did you read YOUR OWN reference???? haha

He eventually went on to ask me everything I had done to it, and asked if I wanted to trade my Vette in for this in the showroom (that he saw me checking out):
2009 SL63 AMG. 29,000 miles on it. I told him I wasn’t really interested in getting rid of my car, but he kept pushing. Told me he could take 10K off the Benz and give me retail on my Vette. When I came into the dealer, there was a sign on the door that said, “it is illegal to make sale of a vehicle in which the header system has been modified and/or the catalytic converters have been removed or relocated from original factory specifications.” I brought that up and he said “not to worry about that.” At this point, it hit me that this kid wanted my Vette for himself. While I really saw myself in that Benz and I would have got a great deal here, I couldn’t do it. He really kept pushing, but I didn’t give in. In the end, I love this thing too much (and I would die if I saw this kid driving around in my Vette).

I mean, if you really own the S-Class then good for you. They're awesome cars. But you tend to exaggerate A LOT for attention on here so I wouldn't hold my breathe that you actually own the car.

Enough crapping on his otherwise happy thread. You wouldn't want someone to do that to you.

Why do you care so much if he posts for attention? Just ignore the thread and move on.
neuronbob asked it to stay on-topic 4 days ago... so just let it go.
Post more pictures of the interior at night please.
I'll post up some of the LED options. They stay on all the time as you drive at night (with the option to lower the brightness/turn off). It blows my mind how Mercedes Benz was able to bring back the "Street Grow" era of the 90s and turn it into perfection into a luxury sedan in 2015.
So I ended up buying the 5 year "wheel and tire warranty" and 4 years "worry free maintenance" when I bought the car (I curb a rim, I get a dent, etc. I take it right to Prestige). Yesterday, I went to pick up my Designo and all weather mats and suddenly I see the guys hand washing washing my car. The salesman told me, "you didn't know you get free car washes for 4 years with that anytime you want??" Can't tell you how awesome that was. The guy cleaning my car said "poppy, with this car, you don't have to say nothing."
I HIGHLY recommend Prestige MB if you are in the NJ/NYC area. Top notch service and experience.
There have been many things that were considered "rice" back in the days but when it is offered now as OEM option, somehow it is not "rice" anymore. But i liked those ricey lights back in the days and i still like them today. I am a ricer at heart!
Example, remember back in the days, the indiglo H emblem on the trunk?
Now we have this:

Nice car, but there is one with the same exact color combo at Ray catena MB in Edison, also the LED thing is cool but Lincoln and Ford have been doing that in their vehicles since 2010. Good luck with the car.
The Audi and Mercedes dealer here provide a free wash whenever as well (not limited by time, if you own the car, they wash it). Pretty cool thing to offer...
I would be afraid to let anyone wash that beauty, regardless of the dealer. I have a buddy that had swirls added to his F car at the dealer, no charge! Regardless of the cost of the car, people still do crappy jobs washing them so be careful.
