Glad she's back to normal, T.
How's the other BMs going? Thought I recalled your 335 having an issue?
Son still in his E46?

The E93 is still on the road at 186k miles. It was my daily for the last 6 months of nightmares with the M5. It has a couple of small issues typical for a car with that many miles (a door mirror that won't fold, for example). The transmission is in a fragile state, but if driven reasonably, you don't know there's any issue. I'm once again buried in medical bills for my kids, so those things on the E93 just aren't a priority.

The E46 finally gave up the ghost. The transmission decided it wanted to no longer function at 205k miles. I sold it for nothing just to get it out of my garage. I bought him a '13 Sonata with a brand new engine from Hyundai in it.

I'm happy to hear that your M5 has had no issues for the last few thousand miles

It's an auto. Sometimes mid-shift it's like it doesn't want to catch the gear, makes a loud noise and just sits there momentarily. It's been doing it off and on over the years, usually only at high RPMs.I can't complain, though. That car owes me nothing. It's a N54 with the original turbos that's been running a tune since 50k miles. It's been quite excellent, overall.

This is such a terrible feeling for sure. Dealing with this in our Suburban right now. Limp mode tops out at 25mph.

Well, after I last documented what I thought was the solution on here, it started acting up again. I ordered some new wiring harnesses that took several weeks to get here from Munich, but when they got here they were the wrong ones. When my install shop was doing some test driving, they noticed the Auto Stop/Start wasn't working. From previous experience they knew the electrical system had to be in top shape for that to work, so they started doing some tests with a meter and some more driving and isolated a power drop. They tried some new relays in that section of the system and the car magically came alive, again. I've put a couple thousand miles on it since then, including my annual Devil's Highway run in N. Arizona and it is like new again. No issues.
BTW, I didn't notice the Auto Start/Stop wasn't working because I never use it.

Better than a couple big SUVs
That'll improve when the Midget's home.

Planning on a few precautionary stops over the ~80 miles. Just to check things over.
Will be sure to make some stops & get some decent shots.

Had to take a few pictures after a wash this weekend.
Adam's Foam Gun, Adam's Mega Foam Shampoo, Adam's Detail Spray (as a drying agent), and Adam's CS3. Not bad for 130k miles.

Looks great! Spacers might be a good option for those wheels

Love the color.
A darker shade like that is perfect for a sleeper sedan, IMO.
For me it'd be an E63, but Lunar Blue would be my first MB choice, with silver being 2nd.

Just picked up this little '17 Hyundai Veloster for my daughter yesterday. Cool little car. 87k miles. "Value Edition" with a ton of upgrades. Got them to throw in a new windshield, new wiper blades, and new tires all for $10,491.

Not bad.
Buddy of mine has one, replaced his CNG F250 with it, then got a RCSB Silverado to daily instead

That's a perfect first car for a teenager. Slow enough to not get in trouble and small enough that they can't cart around friends and/or do bad shit in the back.

Could've found her a nice E60 or a Genesis to daily.
