Fucking awesome. He's good at everything he does.

I've always been fascinated by how the co-pilots break down the track into numbers and such.

And I'm glad they gave a brief explanation of what something means because I've never known before lol

He beat my best time by about 1 hour and 54 minutes, however, I was doing it in the winter, in snow shoes, with a snowboard attached to my back, my co driver was a Siberian Husky and I left my car in the parking lot.

Ohh, we only have HD upstairs in my parents room, and I'm never home once school starts since I have a place off campus and we have no HD there

Werd. He has balls of steel. To be the first to land a doubleback flip at the x-games and be able to walk away from massive bails is awesome. Phenomenal athlete.

Hmm Travis Pastrana is a part of Rally America and not the WRC. Wonder why not? Doesn't want to travel I guess

But the WRC I'm guessing is much bigger than Rally America.

The real brave one is the guy calling the track. I mean, he's trusting his life to the driving skills of someone else.

He's similar to Shaun Palmer in becoming a multi sport champion but not quite as diverse.

I believe this is a stepping stone for him. He wants to compete in the WRC but his lack of experience as a race car driver and his natural competitive nature would have just made him dangerous (literally as in high potential for a massive spectator accident). I don't think the FIA has given him the necessary license to compete, give him some time I think he could race with the big boys.

Ohh I see, well hopefully he makes it so I can root for him. The only guys I know is Kimi raikkonen cause of F1 and Ken block. I've heard of sebastian lobe a lot because of how killer he is at the WRC. But thats it I think.

I could have sworn I've seen him on Discovery HD's coverage. It could be that they also show highlights from other rallies during their coverage. I know they've shown his accidents a bunch of times

he's competed with Colin McRae in rally-inspired races.. and won. (i know it was X-games)

he has talent and focus, just lacking a little experience like some have said... i just dont think he wants to be a full time Rally Driver and throw all his eggs in one basket. he is good at multiple sports and makes alot of money doing so.

Didnt really feel like making another thread, but...

Travis pastrana got invited to the Race of Champions, again. He did last year but broke a couple bones so he couldn't perform.

Update!

Here's the whole footage of the run.

It gets really scary when he gets to the dirt! That would not be a calm drive lol.

edit: for those of you with fast internet, load the 720p version. Looks good

Since I really dont feel like a whole new thread about this, Pastrana left subaru rallying and is joining waltrip racing to race in nascar.

My question is why?!?!
I really have respected him over his racing career, I think he is really talented. But why nascar. I can't imagine its as fun as what he was doing. Man do I despise nascar. Why can't they put those cars on real tracks? I just dont get it.
