Top Cars of the Decade

Nissan Skyline/Infiniti G35 - I nearly singlehandedly ressurrected Nissan from the dead
Toyota Prius - though more of a political statement for environmentalists than anything, it definitely carried the banner for hybrid technology
Nissan GTR, Corvette C6 Z06 and the 2G Cadillac CTS-V - performance of an exotic car but within financial reach of MUCH of the masses.
Aston Martin V12 Vantage - quite simply, the most awesome looking coupe ever created

If it's gonna end up being either an icon OR company saving, they better wise up and get away from the 40 Grand prices of all the test cars I've seen so far.....

I'm sure there are more I could think of, but here are some of the first that come to mind (no particular order)
MINI
2 gen CTS-V
GTR
ZR1
Audi in general (after it's most recent redesign of it's line)
E92 M3
Prius
R8
Each one for their own reason.

I agree with whoever said it onthe last page, the GT-R is singlehandedly the top car o th decade. It's the first GT-R ever in the states and man did it make a big impact. I've never seen so much respect, praise and doubt for just one car.

The original new Mini
2G Acura RL (you have to own one to understand the appeal as it is the best Honda ever built. Really.)
Nissan GT-R
C6 Corvette ZR1
Porsche Boxster
Tesla Roadster
S2000

Burning Brakes
WRX has to be on the list. NASIOC is on of the biggest car boards (fifth according to big boards). Think about it. Subaru, a tiny niche brand has a board that is only surpassed by VW (VW Vortex), GM (Covette), and Honda (Honda tech and Club RSX). It had a huge cultural impact in the US. It is the video game car come to life (almost a decade before the GTR).
Also, in the US, it is a car of the decade--a 2000's car.
