Having owned an Accord 6 speed, I remember exactly how much room you had in the front bumper / headlight area - that's a pretty smart idea.
The S2000 has absolutely no room and moving the filter behind the radiator doesn't make sense.
I'd stick with an OEM box

^ Yeah looking at his photo I definitely see that now. But there's got to be non-CAI for the S2K right? I refuse to do the full CAI on my cars now because it's not worth the few extra HP for the risk of hydrolock, but the sound increase of a SRI is well worth it IMO.

Assuming you keep your underhood temps down, a SRI would be a good alternative for Mr. Penguin

The runoff from that large SW parking lot caused the whole thing.
Wowzers totally missed your hydrolock story. That's great that you were covered even witt the AEM V2 on there! I had the V2 on my Accord and it scared me to death driving in Arizona because when it rains there it tends to flood with very deep puddles so I actually cut my V2 about 5" back so it still extended down but just not as far. Sounds like things worked out great for you though. Are you going to replace the stock intake with another aftermarket eventually? Maybe not a cold air though lol?

Hey Penguin, there is some rain in the forecast. Do you want me to pick you up and take you to work?

I've realized that I have terrible luck when it comes to cars. This beauty happened while leaving work last Wednesday...
Thankfully, it was replaced yesterday. The old one was dirty anyway
Other than that, the car hasn't changed much. I gave it a wash yesterday and I'm approaching 100k miles already (~5k since purchase)

I have a chip in mine too.
Windshield is too steep.
How easy is it to find OEM glass for the S2000? Did you get aftermarket?

I already have too much fun with this car. I don't need a reason to drive faster
That's so true
Safelite got me a replacement within 24 hours but it's not OEM.

Ha, I went through SafeLite too!
Cheap non-OEM windshields have waves if you look at it at a certain angle, but this glass looks great for the price.
Cost me around $240, ish.

Ohhh I've used Safelite before too. They were very easy to work with. The price was very reasonable too.

I wanted OEM too...but after seeing how pitted my OEM glass was...(then when safelite was installing I find out it's not even the ORIGINAL OEM windshield which means all that pitting happened in a fraction of 12 years)...I opted to let them install the aftermarket.
In Florida, one windshield per year is covered, free of charge.
If I had pushed for OEM, there was a 3 day approval process turnaround and THEN I'd have had to come $300 out of pocket in addition. Yeah, no...I figured if I'm not happy, or I see waves with my polarized sunglasses I'd complain and escalate.
None of that happened though, the glass is pristine and perfect. Only defect was the tech didn't originally put enough glue on the mirrahhhhhh...so it fell on the 2nd day...stopped at location and in 5 minutes they bonded it with tons of glue.

Thanks J. I just need to call them up and get it done before she goes to sleep for the winter. I'm pretty sure that MN state law says that they have to use OE parts where possible but we'll see what happens.

The S2k will be hitting 100k tomorrow so I cleaned it up and took it out for some pictures. I took over 50 pictures and only kept these two I'm such a snob.
Since I haven't bought any parts yet, I guess I can talk about getting gas today Last tank was 27.9mpg, putting me at 27mpg since purchase.
Now that the wedding has passed, I would love to do a few things to the car, but I might just wait and see if Santa brings them for me

Dennis, hot climates get ass fucked in the miles per gallon. Ask me how I know.
Tyler, I know your mod schedule...but I highly recommend you think about this.
Those pictures are mad fyah...gorgeous...love...amazing.
Put the Tint and Lip on hold...and get these. If I were not so hellbent on getting coils (helped that I got my street performance coils for $700...)...I would have totally gone back with these springs and called it a day. The fenders can't take slammed and these springs gave the car the perfect DRIVEABLE stance IMO.
