Love the color too. I was just looking at lease deals for fun and good god is the M3/4 expensive to lease. $800/mo is the current offer from BMW. I'm not all that knowledgable on leasing so I don't know if that's negotiable from there or what but that's still a crazy amount of money for a car you don't own.

 

Did you check out M2 lease? It's more than M4. hahahaha

Well gentlemen, bad news. The car is fine, the owner however...

I tore my bicep tendon in half Saturday night while bowling. I had a MRI this morning and will be meeting with a surgeon tomorrow to schedule the procedure. I'll be wearing a sling for quite some time. No bowling for at least 6 months...no clue when I'll be able to drive the S2000 again. I'm frustrated, heartbroken, sad...any and all of the emotions. I'm fortunate enough to have another vehicle to drive, but I love that damn S2000. I just hope it doesn't sit dormant for too long.

 

Tyler, if I know you as well as I think I do .. I think you'll be right back in the saddle in no time.

Bowling is one thing .. but you're lucky Honda made the best & smoothest gat dam transmission ever. Think of it as your first round of PT

But seriosuly though hope your surgery goes well and they get you healed up quicker than expected.

Surgery is on Monday and I'll be out of work for 2-3 weeks afterwards. I'll be in an arm brace for 8 weeks, with having it adjusted every 2 weeks, followed by PT. No S2k for a while

Good luck with the injury/surgery man. I know how it feels to be down an arm and it really sucks. I tore my labrum in my right shoulder and had surgery it took like a year to get back to 100%. Now I just got in a ski accident and messed up my left shoulder, currently going through physical therapy.

I hope it goes smoothly and that you heal up quickly.

Recovery has been slow but steady. I have this wonderful thing for the next 6-8 weeks



Just because I can't drive it doesn't mean I can't modify it Alloy Craft Cooling Plate and Mishimoto Black Raditator Stays were installed yesterday. It took a while since I did it left handed () but well worth the time!

silver bolts on the black cooling plate is such an eye sore

 

I like the contrast the silver bolts give on the cooling plate. What I do think he needs to replace are the factory cast bolts for the radiator. He needs some nice ones that match the cooling plate bolts fot the radiator.

 

Have you considered painting them black since you won't be touching them often?

I like the silver bolts. It gives it a higher quality, classy look. I think if you painted the bolts black, they will blend in with those OEM plastic clips and not look as good.

 

I kid guys, I like the silver too. I like contrast. But the pangween was complaining about not having purchased black bolts in another chat.

All I here is excuses not to drive the s2000. You only need one arm to drive! Hold wheel with knees, shift with left hand, keep going! C'mon, I'm not the only one who's done that, am I? I mean, yeah, no shenanigans or tom foolery behind the wheel, but you can still drive the car!!!

With the brace, technically I can, but the physical therapist has recommended that I don't I'm not supposed to push, pull, or twist anything until the brace is removed.



Bish They bug the hell out of me, but I'm also lazy, so it'll be a while until I decide what to do.

Meh. I guess I could just go around the neighborhood. I want to drive it the way it's meant to be driven, not half-ass and sketchy. It's not worth the risk IMO, especially against doctor's orders.
