Synth19 Skyline Hakosuka Thread
Here is a quick teaser shot of my new to me '72 Nissan Skyline GTX Hakosuka. Motor is stock L20, but has the upgraded twin, side-draft SU carburetors. I purchased the car back in April, and has had some minor restoration, along with the GTR aesthetic exterior modifications. I also have a pretty mean sounding Fujitsubo exhaust. Wheels are Volk TE37v's in 15x9 (-15) and 15 x10 (-25). More to come!
That is an awesome little Skyline. That is such a gorgeous design. Better-looking than the current GT-R for sure.
1. Exhaust clip. Now.
2. What's it feel like to drive? Have you had it on the road?

The car is in Utah right now being stored and a few more minor things to get done. Driving wise, still a few things to work on because the exhaust sits lower then the subframe and oil pan. It was scraping everything! But it sounds awesome on the road and has a great feel unlike a new car.
nothing wrong with putting your JDM Chicago sticker on it.
Really happy how clean the interior is. It's 100% original, and I plan on keeping it that way. The ONLY issue was a crack on the dash, but I scored a new one from Yahoo Japan Auctions today.

I think most ppl know I'm a wheel whore.
Been looking for a set of long champs for my Hako, and had these built by Araya wheels with the same sizing as the TE37v's (15x9 -15 and 15x10 -25).

Here is the suspension:

Weld-on-coilover kit with Front & Rear Koni Shocks, Front T3 adjustable camber plates, Rear RS Start adjustable collar w/ springs , Custom rear strut mounts (and zinc coated), and also picked up a set of new rear strut bushings. Going to get a custom rear camber kit installed that's going to be quite extensive (which includes removing the rear subframe to install). More on that later...

I love those. Congrats on the pick up
