Synth19 Skyline Hakosuka Thread
Motor is coming along, couple weeks away from delivery of the car. I decided not to go with the factory A/C because it would require quite a bit of custom work (since it does not fit with the aftermarket headers). I'll see how it is, and if completely unbearable.. I'll talk to one of the local hot rod shops who have probably done a custom A/C system a million times. But the factory A/C is huge and messy. The engine bay definitely looks much nicer without it.
Rear sub-frame assembly removed, with cross-member separated for weld-on camber kit

new plug wires routed on side so they don't have to go over the valve cover.

catch cans

battery relocated to trunk

Stock linkage was too long so they had to cut it, shorten it and re-weld it back together.

before and after for the rear camber kit.... decided to powdercoat the rear cross member since it was out anyways.

So now the camber is corrected in the rear. This is probably at around -2.5 degrees in the rear (as opposed to the estimated -6 or -7 prior to the kit). Car will be lowered more and get aligned for better fitment.

max camber....

8/9 update...
My Fujitsubo needed some work for clearance. Note that the Resonators removed and flex coupling added.

Some additional "fitment" pics pre-alignment. I'm really stoked I can be at this ride height and not worry about changing out tires after 50 miles. lol

I saw this show last night and knew I had to share it on this thread today...I went from moderately envious to supremely jealous of you and your build after watching this:
Sorry for the lack of updates.... I took delivery about 2 week ago. I Just waiting on a sync to do a small tune next. Driving an old car is no joke. It's very finicky. I've been driving manual cars for over 10 years and I felt like a total noob. I was idling around 2k, so obviously that didn't make things easy until after I adjusted that. Here are a few pics taken by some friends, but hoping to do a shoot maybe this weekend.
