Ah. Okay. I was just wondering if it had any thickness or rigidity to it. Was thinking about if you could get some wood angle to cut a frame and then wrap it in CF vinyl to get the effect for not a lot of coin. Not sure how well that would work with just paper though.

If it's where it needs to be on the wall you could literally brad nail some thin wood strips around it to frame it in...
or even just tape around it and paint a frame around it.

What might be my last Carbon Fiber mods....I can't think of anything else to do!

Guys....this Corvette is over 7 years old now with 42,000 miles on it. Just like my Type S, I've modified this for that long a period of time. Here are the last Carbon Fiber mods for it.....I literally can't think of anything else to do.

First, there were chrome trim pieces around the dash (where the Driver Information Center is). Today I replaced those chrome pieces with Carbon Fiber.

Next, just a small aesthetic idea....I trimmed the air intake in red on the full Carbon Fiber grill.

There is also a Carbon Fiber "extension" on the lower rear of the Corvette. I've trimmed that as well.

At this point, I'm lost and cannot think of anything else to make in Carbon Fiber.......this makes me very sad.

Headlights? Can you crack them open and get some CF in there somewhere?

When you run out of carbon fiber to add, it's time to list the car, sadly.

Yes, wiper arms are already on there. (See post #2791)

I had Carbon Fiber center caps, but these aftermarket wheels are different size than the OEM hubs. So the Carbon Fiber center caps I have do not fit.

So.....C8 time? Just saaaayin', if there are no other mods for your (awesome) C7. I'm one of those on board with the C8. Very proud of Chevy for out-italianing the Italians, and then making the price reasonable...

^^^ Bob, I'm waiting to see what they come out with on the C8. I was an early adapter on the C7 (mine is #1,445 off the line). So when they came out with the C7 Z06 and ZR1, I was jealous. But I didn't feel like I could get out of my car because I had already done so much with it. So I want to wait and see the variants that come with the C8 and then figure something out.

Yup yup. C8 seems incredible. Let GM work out bugs/issues for couple years and IIRC, the C8 Grand Sport could be a sweet spot of more power than the base + all the handling bits for decent price. C7 GS was same power as C7 base I think right? So the C8 GS is what I'm really excited about honestly as super streetable that's not too crazy/overwhelming....and hopefully no more heat soak issues....

You're probably leaving some power on the table with just bolt ons and no engine tweaks...
have you considered GT tuners and a local knowledgeable guy? I bet you'd feel it in the seat.

OR, tell your financial planner that you're only planning to live to 100 and not 120...that should free
up some of that IRA cash for a whipple on top.
That'll make Z06 guys jealous for sure.

Hello Steven, do you have an Engine Bay Pic with the Haltech CAI Intake ? Any fitment issues ?
With the Intake and Ported Throttle body you should consider a Tune.
Have been considering an Intake as my next Mod.

Got the targa and halo wrapped at Cornerstone Window Tinting in Kansas City. They also replaced my Xpel on the nose of the Stingray!

They did an outstanding job and it looks OEM. These wraps have come a LONG way.

Wraps have come a long way in the last decade. Especially carbon fiber style ones
