Apparently they were back ordered until recently, but I'm actually waiting for some LED spots that should be coming in next week.

Been swapping out the Hellas for LEDs for more lumens

Here's a little update on my build list on my rig. I have a couple of big changes coming this weekend.

As it stands now:

LoD Armour Lite Shorty with Bull Bar and Skid Plate
PoisonSpyder RockBrawler Rear Bumper
17x9 XD Addicts
285/70/17 Duratrac
TF 1.5" Performance Leveling Kit
OME Standard Shocks
EVO Protek Skids
10" Totron LED Bar
Delta H4 Headlight Kit
Hella 500FF
Rampage Light Guards
MoPar Fuel Door
Cobra 75WXST with CoolTech VersaMount2
3" Firestick with license plate mount
Rugged Ridge Grille
AEV ProCal
Rugged Ridge A Pillar Switch with Daystar switches
AntennaX 13" Stubby Antenna
Quadratec Floor and Cargo Mats
Quadratec Tow Hitch and wiring harness

Upcoming

315/70/17 Duratrac
TF 2.5" coil lift with 5100s
TF Exhaust Spacers
TF HD Adjustable Spare Tire Mounting Kit
Aurora ALO-2PD 2" LED Spot Beam (replacing the Hellas on my windshield)

With the move to a 2.5" lift and 35" tires there are a couple of things I need to beef up with my front axle and skids (c gussets/lower control arm). Also potentially need to upgrade some suspension components (track bar/lower control arms). I've been trying to talk myself out of a bigger lift and tires because it's a very slippery slope... folks/vendors on the Wrangler forums are great enablers.

With the help of some local Jeepers, got this install yesterday.

2.5" Teraflex Coils and Bilstein 5100s shocks

I think I ended up netting 3" of lift with this kit.

I'm getting cold feet with going up to a 35" tire. What do you guys think?

Dope! The rear looks a little lower than the front. Is that true or am I just seeing things?

Honestly I think your current wheel/tire setup looks great. I wouldn't change them at all

Yeah you're not seeing things... I have like a reverse rake

I think it's because of weight of the bumper and tires on the rear. Unfortunately... when I opted for the lighter front bumper (rear weighs twice as much as the front). I could solve it by getting a winch or just spacers in the rear to level it out.

Yeah... most people are saying to stay with the 33s... but I got that urge to just go 35s.

Actually took some measurements and the rears are .5" taller than the fronts. I think it's the angle of the picture that makes it look off.

So I went up to 35s Some guy on craigslist bought my old wheels/tires for the amount that cost me for a new set of wheels and tires. I'm actually getting around the same fuel economy and it's not a big difference in performance compared to the 33s.

Ended up going with Level 8 Trackers 16x8.5 with Goodyear Duratrac 315/75/16. The new combo actually weighs 5lbs per wheel more than my 17x9 285/70/17, but measures to 33.25" at 30psi.

Here's a quick shot... unfortunately the spare is too big for the stock carrier, so I have a Teraflex adjustable tire mount coming tomorrow that'll go well with my Teraflex HD hinge kit.

Installed Teraflex lower control arms and a JKS front trackbar. The rig is much more stable now and handles much better.

Pinch seam trimmed (waiting for a can of factory paint to touch up), lower control arm slids and C gussets

New nower control arms and track bar huge improvement compared to stock.

Teraflex Hinge to support the heavier spare.

Getting ready for a big group ride down to Flagpole in March, get to see how the new suspension and wheels do. I think I'm going to be down for a good while... but if my factory fenders rub with the 35s... might go with the bushwacker flat flares.

Damn, you are killing it on mods! Looks great but I like the old wheels better, the black needs some shine.

Oh, get those flares, they look incredible.

Yeah, the new wheels are a little more basic. The old ones looked great, but, were a pain in the ass to clean and to get the "35s" in a 17" rim, it would've cost an arm and leg.

I'm just waiting for an excuse to upgrade the fenders.

That's funny you posted that because I came to this thread to post about a cool round brake light I saw today in the middle of the spare. Nice work

Do it!

Thanks everyone for the comments!

There's a guy on CL selling a set of used bushwacker fender flares for really cheap. I was going to slow down the mods due to sequestration... but if everything checks out, I'm going to have to pull the trigger.

I can't wait until it's nice outside to take the top and doors off. I bought some safari straps for the rear area to go with my spiderwebshade, so it'll end up looking like this when I take the top off

Were you in the Richmond area earlier this week? There was a Wrangler at the gas station that looked like your twin.

Will do.

I also saw a turbo'd four door Wrangler. At first I thought it was an oil cooler peeking through the grill, but then I heard the turbo spool. I hope that one is there again so I take a closer look.
