So the TSX needed more lift...

Sold my TSX to another AZ member up in NY.

My wife surprisingly ok'ed this purchase, so I quickly jumped on it. Unfortunately, I had to special order a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Sport S and it took exactly 5 weeks to be shipped. It was a long and painful wait, especially since I was ordering parts each day and I didn't have a car for a week. Delivery date was missed twice as well

Picked it up Thursday night and drove home with the top down. As a first time Jeep owner, it was pretty amazing. Love the improvements with the 2013.

Here are the specs:

24S Package
Auto
Crush Paint
Sirius Radio
Alpine Audio
Anti Spin Differential
3.73 Rear Axle
Front Side Air Bags
Connectivity Group

Right before dropping it off at the shop the next day to get my wheels and lift installed.

After:

Mods:

17x9 XD Addicts
33" Duratracs
1.5" Teraflex Performance Leveling Kit
OME Shocks
AntennaX shorty

Just installed some ACE rock sliders and probably getting the front windows tinted tomorrow. I'll post updated pictures tomorrow.

I still have a LoD shorty front bumper with bull bar that I'm trying to install this weekend. Along with 2 pairs of Hella FF 500 driving lights for the windshield and bumper.

I like the US flag stickers.

And its crazy how much a slight lift and new tires/wheels can change the look of the Jeep.

Congratulations. Those wheels look great.

I owned a 1999 Wrangler before my first TSX. It was a fun vehicle.

Thanks everyone!

I'll post pictures of the interior and the rock sliders later this afternoon.

Unfortunately, the windows won't be tinted until this weekend.

Dude NICE!!!

I really like the Crush color on the jeeps, its the same as Header Orange that was offered as a special order color on the 2011 Challengers.

I also really like the bright metallic green they have.

Enjoy it!

You're confused; the TSX has superior cd, especially the shape of its mirrors.

Love it!! Congrats

We were between the Orange and Black ourselves... got a good deal on black. It's a great 3rd vehicle... we're having a blast in it. Welcome to the club and enjoy yours! Be warned though, you can drop a ton of money very quickly. The Jeep catalog from 4wd.com is like 500+ pages!!

Thanks!

I was torn between Dozer, Gecko, and Crush. And all of those colors were sold out around my area for the 2012. So I'm really glad I got ordered it for the 2013.

There's a number of new colors coming out soon on the later allotments of Wranglers. Commando Green/Dune/Lobster Red are the colors that people on the Wrangler forums are waiting on.

That's a great looking JK. What have you done to it?

Haha, I already dropped a lot of money. I've been supporting the JK-Forum/WranglerForum sponsors/vendors for the past month.

I really want to pick up some Bushwacker Fender Flares and my wife really wants the Bestop Trektop. I think I'm going to slow down after AEV releases the ProCal for the 2013s and wait until later the winter for the other toys.

Oh definitely, just waiting to finish everything up and hit up George Washington Forest with a couple of buddies.

Yeah, it's crazy. I was on the forum immediately myself. It has a 4" Rough Country lift, 17" Fuel Wheels with Goodyear Duratrac tires. We actually had 35" on there originally, but the ride was too rough and it was a dog, so we put 285's on and did the Superchip Flashpaq and it's like a different truck. My wife really wants the fender flares (it's actually her weekend vehicle), but we're holding off for now.

Nice.

I really like the Poison Spyder and Bushwacker flares. Really need to resist the urge to buy.

Thanks, definitely surprised with the quality (even for a Wrangler) and the amount of features the newer JKs have.

New LoD shorty bumper with skid plate. Weighs 41lbs compared to the stock 44.

Gotta make an order for spacers for my D-rings. And then probably a rugged ridge a-pillar switch for my Hellas

Thanks! I was torn between the Poison Spyder Brawler Lite and this LoD Armour Lite. The price and low weight helped me make the decision, but,
I really wanted the Brawler Lite because of the aggressive look. It ended up being much more after getting quotes to powder coat it.

What did you end up going with your switches for your lights?

^ Just some rocker/toggle switches by the steering column. Light bar has two switches (one turns on the outer two, other turns on the middle 3), and the spots are on one... so three total...
