Thats odd that you had fitment issues. Those are supposed to have the best fitment that I have come across. It is a wear and tear item its only a matter of time before you crack it hence why the price is so cheap lol

Just updating this for 2013. I have gone through a few more cars. I missed my yellow one so much in late 2011 I bought an orange Elise in addition to my grey exige.

In 2012 I sold both cars and bought this beast

A few months a go I sold my GT3 and picked this one up.

We started data logging before sending out the Exige S240 for a tune.

^ Wow... awesome!
I keep going back and forth with what I want... but keep coming back to the Elise.
Cool photos!!
PS - how did you like the GT3? What year was that? I have it on my radar as well... although it's kind of low...

GT3 was a 2005 last year of the 996 GT3. This car was stupid fast and stupid loud. I had a muffler bypass on it. I had it up to 187mph. Expensive on maintenance but well worth it. Make sure you check out rear main seal and diff if you're gonna buy one. Make sure you have Porsche do a PPI.

And I love it! Loving the Lotus and hope to buy one in the next 5 years

if you can buy one sooner id do so. prices are appreciating due to supply and demand. most are wrecked trying to find a clean low milage one owner is almost impossible. My S240 is a 1 owner with 3500 miles. I paid out the ass for it but theres no hidden stories.

How do you compare the GT3 to the Elise? I know it's apples/oranges, but you had both and I'd be curious to know your thoughts on each...

Yeah, I've been looking at P-Cars for a while, so know all about the diffs and RMS issues. Would definitely do a PPI on anything before buying.

Damn, damn, damn I'm jealous. You have gone through a freakin ton of cars and my dream cars! My biggest choice on cars has been do I want the four cylinder Ford Escape or the Ford Fusion but they have all been free

Okay so my white S240 lasted all of 3 months until I found this beauty. I sold the white one and bought this. Its a 2010 Laser Blue Exige S. This int/ext color combo is 1 of 1 in the country. Im currently running a stage 3 exhaust paired with a Larini decat and a VF tune which brings the power up to 260hp

if a mod can change the title of this thread to "Slow Type S's Weekend Toys" I'd appreciate it since the title no longer applies.
