Well its been a few months of owning the Lotus. I have loved every minute of it. I had the opportunity to do an autox event as well. it was certainly a new experience for me.

This is what the car looks like now.

Mods on the list prolly gonna get done over the winter

Rota Slipstream matte black wheels
Difflow matte black rear diffuser
Tint the windshield
PPE Headers and decat

Well lets just say its not my TL. Its definitely something you have to get used to. I might put some extra padding into the seats which is something most Lotus owners are doing.

Such a cool little car, I saw a bright orange one on the way to the grocery store today

Someone in the office park across from my house has an E46 M3 they drive in the winter and a blue Exige they tend to drive in the summer too.

I remember a thread on Lotus Talk about owners getting nasty looks from others during the recession. It was a funny thread considering a used Elise sells for around the same price as a loaded Accord or Camry.

Just wanted to share a quick update......

I just had my rims painted and the windshield tinted. Im also switching out to a dual tip euro style exhaust with a decat next week. with the tune that i have, i should be shooting out flames every time i switch gears at high RPMs

The Lotus I went to look at today (I posted in the "pics of exotic/desirable car" thread), he had the Katana SC installed at the dealer, and sent out the ECU to Sector 111 to tune it. He also put on a Larini exhaust but said it was too loud and put the stock exhaust back on. Is it really THAT loud?

Well I'll give you guys an update......I have sold the Elise since last. The buyer offered me more money than I had invested in the car.

I have since picked up this.......Hope you guys approve

The car came from Cali was previously owned by a celebrity
