Its all in the research bro. I dont get anything from sector or hanger 111.

Ive seen things on their site for twice as much as you can find them elsewhere.

I got the lip in group buy on the Lotus Talk forum which in my opinon lotus talk sucks ass. I think they were having a group by on a carbon fiber one just recently I think.

Head over to British speed. I got a much warmer welcome over there.

I have every manual you can think of for the car. Go here http://www.lotustechinfo.com/subscriber_new.asp

Pay 25 bucks for 24 hours access and download everything.

Congrats on the purchase. Get ready for looks at every single fucking light you stop at. hence, the reason I tinted my windows.

Are you keeping the stock wheels or will you upgrade at some point?

That's a great idea IMO because they're really nice OEM wheels, but there's something about the blacked out look on the blue one that would definitely work with yours. I say go for it!

wow that's nice. I love these cars and that yellow is NICE. Black gas door would go well with the black wheels but even if you decide down the road to get different wheels that are not black it would still look good

This car is amazing! I rented one in Hawaii (convertible Elise - yellow) while I was on my honeymoon and I received looks everywhere I went. Driving that beautiful car and pushing 110 on H1 highway was a blast! And the convertible helped as well since I could take in the beautiful scenery.

I want to get one as well - but I'll have to wait until I pay off my mortgage haha

Actually, all things considered most of the mods for the Elise are not that expensive. Partially b/c it's a Toyota engine and drive-train. Custom parts like Carbon Fiber lips, etc cost about the same for a Lotus as they would for most other vehicles...

yea you'd be surprised at how many people actually walk up to you and strike a conversation. mostly cause they have no clue what it is. the worst one i get is "how much did you pay for that?" and then they dont believe the price Im just gonna start telling people its a $120K
