Shiny. I'm sure you appreciate it more with the Prius. There is a kiddish smile I used to get when all eight cylinders fired up.:

I actually like the Prius a lot Its make makes me a much calmer more aware driver..Driving it is like a playing a video game trying to get the maximum mpg.

The Challenger...well, its like becoming Mr. Hyde I would imagine. I usually the douche that just wants to go fast because I can

^Agree. I've only seen stock ones here.

Car looks great! Nothing like a properly shined up black car...especially when it's a car that looks so damn good to start with.

Just a solid plastic version of what is in there now.

Just put a piece of painters tape down for caution...pop two clips under with a credit card...its out....slide new ones in. Open up hood to pull the rubber ducting on the functional ones through the inlets on the inside of the hood (they are pretty much through, just have to get them in place.)...Literally takes all of two minutes.

Awesome!

Did you polish/wax/seal by hand or use a PC?

Lot's of long flat panels are SO nice when detailing...

all by hand...

Anything below the body line under the door handles was a PIA because of having to be low.

Damn. My shoulders hurt just thinking about doing that by hand!

For the low stuff you can throw a milk crate on a creeper and then you can sit nice and low but still roll along. Ghetto, but useful.

Damn Sarlacc that looks tits. Love the Charger chromes on there. As an owner of 2 black cars, I can appreciate the time it took to get it that clean.

Time to update your avatar man

Thanks dude. They are the optional chrome clads for the Challenger/Charger.

I REALLY want the Charger SRT wheels one day. I have some plans for them when I have the time/money.

You never joined the club did you? Jump on to the scc website and all the info is in the event section. Just make a post with your intention to be there and I'm sure it will be cool. They just need a headcount for members/ potential new members. You need to get off your last ass and join already

No pics right now because they car is dirty and I have been busy with bigger things in life.

But I left the wife with grandma and twins this morning to run to my performance shop with my dad to pick up the challenger that I dropped off two weeks ago.

Here is a quick list of the work done...pics will come....when time allows (and two newborns doesnt allow much)

SRT lip conversion

87mm Throttle Body

180 T-stat

SP Bullet CAI

SP 3rd member X-Brace in Chromoly (connects front/rear subframes)

SRT headers/mids/cats

SP Custom Tune

Bottom line...this is a whole NEW car. The throttle response is much more smooth. The 6pds could always be a little jerky because of the torque. Now its nice and easy. The X-brace compliments suspension well and really wrings in the front end. Its nice and tight and make me feel very confident in smaller lanes in this wide car. The comfort is unaffected, still great for long drives. The exhaust note now sounds deeper and throatier.

The car is more responsive and I gained about 30hp. So depending on conditions, I am dynoing and putting down about plus/minus 370hp and 400tq to the wheels.

Yeah one at a time. If I put the second car seat I have move my seat up to close to be comfortable with the clutch.

I'm driving it a tad bit more now. But I'm still cautious as hell with it. No dings.
