FML...that link that y'all found for new wheel went from $260 to $390 overnight...
Kam, your guy on ctsvzine had a heart and wanted to give the first guy that PM'd him a chance to pay...I was like, fuck that bro...money talks. But no dice...
I emailed the fort myers silver wheel guy...that would force me to get powdercoat done but that honestly might not be the worst thing ever. Just means wagon will be down for a day or two.

in addition...the image on that site for $260 is definitely not the rudimentary drawing of a "V" wheel.

Zeta, Johnny and Joe...thank you for your help.
After some debate, and not hearing back from the polished guy, I decided to stop bullshitting and be a man.
I bought the 1 single front wheel in painted silver from the girl (selling for hubby?) on craigslist for $200 shipped.

I will get my set refinished, which was the right way to go about it anyway. A new perfect wheel is $400-500...
$200 and $350 for powdercoat for the entire set will net me a perfect set of OEM wheels for $550. Fuck that, I can't beat that.

J.

I'll throw the continental dw on there...no longer rub, then sell the michelin to recover some costs.

Actually, the old zeta4 in Orlando. That's where Paul & Ron got their start in the early 80's.

Good catch with cross referencing. However, there are four other part #'s listed; 19259630; 19259631; 22767439; 22820066 that might be yours.

Suggestion. This is what I do when I run into this headache, and it is often:

In the morning, go to the website, enter your car criteria as if you are going to purchase. Call the 800.769.6256 and get one of the parts wizards on the phone, preferably a manager, tell them you are looking at a wheel designated for a 2013 CTS-V Wagon and that their website states it is for $260 and that you want to make sure it is the correct one for your car before you hit the button to buy. When they do their checks, if they state that the price is incorrect, and it is in fact for a 'base V6 model' raise a little hell and tell them you were ready to go and that they should honor the price stated for your correct wheel. I've found it to work about 89% of the time, It just takes a little persistence and is worth a try. Take advantage of their mistake, if it is one.

Righttt...what a very thing of you to say.
and you were egging me on to buy it too without agreeing with me that that's probably not it.

Who the fuck wants a base 3.6L hose reel rim?

Well, waiting to hear back about shipping from the craigslist person. I paid through paypal friends and family so I should be okay.
Just kidding, I know better.

Also, thinking about doing some emblem inserts...apparently they can be pulled and scraped out
My reds are also starting to fade...I thought you had to take the entire V out, but you don't.

Being that I am already on DWs and have a new set waiting when these are done I plan to make a tire shredding video. When I replaced the tires that originally came on the car the guys at the tire place wanted me to do a burnout right in front of the place but the manager put a stop to that idea real fast. That was back in December of last year. Shit I just realized I might not even make it a year without needing new tires. Damnit.

rockstar143, your cross referencing was correct for #19300997. Turns out this is a 19x8.5 for the base V6. You instinctively opted for the better deal from craigslist at $200.

It appears a closer version (part #) to your 19x9 polished cts-v wheel was in front of our faces all the time with Majofo's post below on 26Oct16.

Just got off the phone with local caddie parts wizard and he gave me #20951881 for 19x9 front. Believe it or not this guy wanted a VIN to be sure, . I gave him a ruse and said I found three other cts-v wheels at a garage sale and the owner wanted to sell them cheap after hitting a curb and destroying the fourth front wheel. I wanted to purchase a fourth ASAP and put them up for sale for a quick buck. Well, that made him work a little harder and he produced the 20951881 number priced at full retail from the stealership for $600 or so, lol.

If you look at Majofo's ebay link below under the 'Item Specific's' > 'Manufacturer Part Number: 20951880 / 9598615' is very similar, so there it is for posterity's sake, hehe.

I think you can send in a rashed wheel if its not too badly gouged.. However, the won't take a repaired wheel, especially if it was previously cracked and then welded....

EDIT: Majofo...you send in a $1600 deposit in addition to the $800...they send you a set of coated wheels...in self addressed boxes...you ship yours back to them...as JTMoney mentioned, if yours show up with anything more than light curbing and surface blemishes...they deduct from your deposit. So what's to stop them from saying all of these suck and you paying $2400 for a set of PVD oem wheels. That kinda scared me, plus, on a black car, I don't want black wheels.

Zeta, you're rapidly becoming my favorite member.
Thanks for cross checking...yeah, something about ONLY costing $260 didn't jive with me...then the picture and cross referencing. I appreciate your leg work and you made me feel very happy about getting one for $200! Already texted with my PC guy...
B and I went through a few powder colors too and settled on one...
she trashed my idea of oem wheels being bronze or copper. She said no and that that might only work if I had aftermarket wheels

and was 17.

we like formula silver on volks...but that's paint...this was a pretty similar powder it looks like.
I dig it because still have contrast but will end up not looking TOTALLY OEM while also hiding a little brake dust which I really need. With polished, the wheels look dingy and not clean after 1 day, no lie.
